Just recieved a $225 fine for parking in a ****ing clearway from Burnside counsel. Does anyone know if you can still get done if you were in the car? I was just waiting for the misses. The bloody inspector took a photo but didn't bother to tell me in person. What a prick!! Any help would be appreciated...

Happend to me a few months back.
Had to get a statutory declaration that it was for emergency reasons, dragged on for several months til they finally waived the fine.

You still stopped in the Clearway though, so it appears the fine is correct.

No point attacking the inspector, they're just doing their job and you were the one parked illegally.

I think common sense would say a quick word telling me to move on would have been more apropriate. Very sneaky in my opinion. Also, if you saw the sign in question it is quite confusing.

I'll bet they're instructed not to have a quick word with people because they're likely to get belted :o

If the sign was confusing you have a case. If you were only pulled over for maybe 30 seconds you also have a case. Otherwise, you'll probably just have to cop it.
 
Just "lost" a bet on the Bay, but it is to my advantage. Am a bit bored with the Bay, wanted an out for a while, had to organise something to like I am going "missing". Particularly if we lose next two games. Trolling Port is getting too much like picking on the ******* kid.

Bet D_One (make of Crows videos) that he could not do a video of Butcher's goals this year. If he did I would not post for a month on the Bay. He did, so I now have a leave pass for a month, to uphold my bet and not be welcher.

Oh and there is now a nice video proving the Butcher Version 2012 is a seagull.

laptop hard drive, its at a recovery place atm. so fingers crossed. backed it up at the start of the year but not since, stupid me.
 
Auntie was telling me that my 10 y.o. cousin with cerebral palsy won two gold medals in the Mounted Games the other week.

Immensely proud of her. What a way to give an "up yours" to disability

My cousin would be 14 now (just shy of 15) and struggles to even walk without assistance.
A very big achievement from your cousin :):thumbsu:

Have heard of Kenny Dalglish. Had no idea who or what you were referring to though until someone explained it.

Have zero interest in all things soccer - no matter whether it's Australian, EPL or any other league. I struggle to think of any games that are less exciting - it sits just below synchronised swimming on the excitement meter.
