That would be surprising considering that he, along with Dier, were England's two best players in the group stages with Rose being exceptional also. No doubt that Kane and Alli had tournaments that would have ranked somewhere between disappointing and disastrous, but I think the result was more down to the manager and his tactics rather than personnel.
