Even though Porter might be fired soon as sources around the net say, this may mean Amare stays in Phoenix however if he doesn't stay then Cleveland and Chicago are frontrunners for Amares services.

Amare for:

Cleveland: JJ Hickson, Wally Z (Expiring), Andersen Varejao + Rd 1 Pick

Bulls: Tyrus Thomas, Drew Gooden (Expiring), Sefolosha or Noah + Picks?

I don't know what could go down but i would love the Cleveland deal if we were able to get them to include Daniel Gibson. PG for the future. Don't know much besides the footage ive seen.

EDIT: I was wondering before which player had the nickname "Boobie" lol nice 3's though i remember the rookie vs sophmores game with his 11/20 from beyond the arc. Also just read Lebron thinks of Gibson as a little brother so maybe he wouldn't be included in any trades.

Linas Kleiza + Dahntay Jones for Kelenna Azubuike

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET THIS ONE DONE.

You seem desperate for a trade that really isn't going to make much difference in the scheme of things. Azu is just another guy who looks for his shot.

it may seem small but it solves many things:
- no more Dahntay Jones... back to the D-league mang.
- less Anthony Carter
- more JR Smith
- more Renaldo Balkman
- any1 who can shoot the 3 and play good D is a bonus.

- more JR Smith

You realise Azubukubkeke plays the same position as JR, and plays it better? You will be seeing a lot less JR, if anything.
- more Renaldo Balkman

This is not a good thing.

Really, the Nuggets don't have much that they can trade, since everyone is on a long-term deal pretty much.

CJ Miles would be a good fit for the Nugs and they have enough expirings + picks to get him, but I doubt the Jazz would be keen to help out a division rival.

With Kleiza gone, we basically have no SF backup (Balkman is more of a better version of Najera type PF) so that means JR Smith will be backing up that position.

Billups has basically bought control to the offense this season, so Kleiza can't cherry pick or sit in the corner 3 area where AI/Melo has to draw double teams for him.

JR Smith playing the 3 = epic lulz.

Also, Balkman isn't nearly as good as Najera.

...except Kleiza is putting up basically the same numbers as last year, including better 3-point numbers.

? What's wrong with JR at the 3. He can drive, he can shoot, he can rebound, he can play some point forward. He played a lot of SF when Melo was injured.

O_O and i never realised LK was shooting 35.5% from 3 range... but really, that's not all that great. Buike has 10% over him in that regard and is more consistent/efficient.

Wasn't it it you telling me last year that it was a good idea by the Suns NOT to trade Amare for Garnett two off-seasons ago, and that Amare will be the cnetrepiece of the Suns for another decade? :)

The first part I certainly believe and I'm not alone. Garnett would not fit the Suns as well as Amare. Sure he would improve the defence but offers little of what Amare does at the offensive end. Not to mention Garnett is deadset flog these days.

As for the next part I think you've got yourself seriously confused.

OK I've had a thought and would love to know what people think.

At seasons end, what about Haslem and Dorell Wright for Jamal Crawford? The contracts match up almost except for about half a mil so Crawford would have to pick up his option.

Haslem is expiring in the summer of '10 so it would mean they have about $10m to spend, Wright would be good in their system and is also expiring. Haslem would give them more size and better rebounding, Haslem and Beasley just doesn't add up in Miami.

Crawford is obviously not wanted by GS and wouldn't have to handle the ball full time as Wade and Chalmers would do some of it.
