Ranking best and worst AFL theme songs

I know it's not an overly talked about subject but the theme songs in AFL are one of the great traditions that will never be lost in our game and there is no better than singing the song after a win.

Just the other week when Richmond beat Melbourne the 'Yellow and Black' from the tiger faithful was deafening (as it is most weeks after a win) and who can forget the pride the Kangeroos theme song brought when they beat Gold Coast for their first win. They are just 2 examples.

So I'm asking to rank what you think the best and worst AFL theme songs are and why (not including your own club though)...

I reckon the Demons is the best apart from our own!

Demons song is magnificent.

Ones i do not really like are North / Bombers / Pies.

Interstate teams songs i rarely hear and when i do they remind me of a baby screaming as they are all hurting my ears with no real catchy tune at all.

North Melbourne's is one of the best. Love that 'hearts to hearts' part the players sing before launching in to the song proper.

Richmond for best overall. I think Carlton's is probably the most overrated.

Why do so many local clubs just use the generic 'grand old flag' ?

Honestly the Bulldogs must have the worst song, it's shocking. Don't know if it always sounded that bad or it's just the current rendition but it's god awful.

It's boring on recording.

Great belted out by the players or on the mcg after a few beers or at a packed family day at the whitten oval the day after a grand final though.

it's been a thread topic often, and what I love is how almost uniformly all the new teams songs suck as they didn't go for that older feel - all, that is, except the Giants, who smashed it out of THE PARK with their song. I am soooo impressed with the direction they went.

So, best two easily is:

Richmond
Giants (simply for the cossack soviet feel)

Other good ones are: Essendon (pure bias); Melbourne (a good rousing song); Collingwood (suprise entry, but I just ****ing love the way it echoes around the MCG with that shitty cakewalk line, not many other songs do that full on echo thing so well).

The clear worst are the new ones. Easily:

Port
Gold Coast
Freo
West Coast

All stinkers.

The hardest one to rate is Carlton because it has such a weird aesthetic, yet it kind of works. The rest I'm pretty meh on
