Brown, Richardson and Barker wanted to work under Ratten who didn't pay through the nose for a problem forward.

Clarkson wanted to keep Barker.

Ratts was smart enough to move on Lappin who tried to turn Betts into a lead up forward.

People keep bagging him (carlton and non-carlton supporters) yet I have not seen him do anything wrong... every single goal he has put forward, he has achieved... he's a realist... and has done everything right...

I think what Marc Shrmuf was trying to saying was that Carlton have improved every year under Ratten (aka, gotten further in the season). Only improved by 2 points this year though, so I think the tide is turning.


I'm surprised so many are picking Voss, given I get the feeling that everyone (wrongly) contributes Brisbane's disastrous 2010 solely to Voss. I'm sure he's to shoulder some of the blame, but had we had a good run with injuries and just snuck into 7th or 8th, there'd be a lot less sh** flung his way.


I think we'll find out after the 2011 season whether Voss is going to make it or not.

So what is acceptable performances bor both coache's to keep their jobs this year. Given voss is only going to start his 3rd season & less expectations he should be pretty safe.

Ratten what would be a pass for him to maintain his job,4-6 I believe
miss the finals & he is cooked.
