Nah we were going shithouse even whilst Zac was out there....
He was one of our best in the first half.
Him going off meant Cottrell having to play deeper and Murphy, who had no meaningful contribution, coming on.
Plays the same as he did on he gold coast, conditionally.Frustrating to watch. You forget he’s out there at times.
I can cop the club bringing in Saad and Williams on inflated contracts, but we’ve so far paid this pretender 1.6 mil for some of the most pedestrian football you will see.
Today in the absence of McKay he needed to stand up and kick 3 or 4, and he went missing once again.
I think the club has to start genuinely thinking about whether we want these type of contracts on our books at this stage of our development. We are clearly not even close to a finals caliber team.
He’s our version of Chad Wingard.
2.1 in junk time. And yet he kicked 3.1, had 20+ touches and 5 clearances from 50% time on ball. He’s a beast mate.
Many premiership coaches wouldn’t tolerate the lack of defensive effort.Yes, I can read. Is it Cripps’ fault though? No. Cripps very good. Any club would take a performance like that from their captain.
Andrew Russell is a fraud based on the available evidence. Our injury list is consistently one of the worst in the league.
Wasn’t having a crack at him individually but we as a team were going shithouse whilst he was playing. He was one of our best in the first half.
Him going off meant Cottrell having to play deeper and Murphy, who had no meaningful contribution, coming on.
Cripps needs to play 70/30 fwd/mid. Played an amazing game but came at the expense of Kennedy. To evolve as a team we need to allow Kennedy, Dow, Walsh etc to be the main core. Kennedy and Cripps can then rotate
I dont think Murph was even remotely prepared to play. Looked pale and cold.
Nah uh, I've got a memory like a fox...short memory
No, we don't but we have to.We don't get that right either.
Surely you are a touch embarrassed to have researched and know that?
Thomas is a HFF who average about 15 touches. Simpkin is 3 years older than Walsh. LDU and Philips look good. Remember we've got Cuningham, Stocker, Caroll, Kemp, Philp coming through who didn't play in the midfield today. If that’s the case it’s not by much, but they are putting together an enviable team.
Would kill for a current and future midfield of Simpkin, Thomas, LDU, Stephenson, Phillips and Powell.
JSOS was pretty poor today I thought (apart from TDK, waksh and dow I don't really think anyone was good)Thank you Murph for your service but it’s time for this club to show they will not reward games, I don’t care who you are.
I know he was a big part of this club for many years but same way my employer would hand me my ass if my performance deteriorated so bad over my 15 years of service - it’s also time for Murph to eff off with his pathetic efforts.
JSOS - always gives 100%
Not much else to say apart from sadly, cya Teague

When you compare him to Murphy’s efforts it’s relevantWe’re just desperate
To me that’s the same as tanking. *s your culture.I'm not saying Murphy played well...
I'm saying might as well let him play 3 more since there's no chance we're making finals now.
Many premiership coaches wouldn’t tolerate the lack of defensive effort.
YepNo difference for today but today isnt the reason for playing them next year and thereafter is .
For where we are especially after today we should be seeing them now .
But instead we have Murphy re-instated back into the side off no form and injury .
