****ing pick 7 and 23:mad:!
Makes it very arkward seeing as we will miss out on Lucas/Morabito/Trengove/ etc but & is too early to take Jetta, yet he most likely will not last until 23, especially seeing as he is now going to draft camp..
lol I trust the selectors enough to make the right decision. Better than the cursed pick 6 :p

Just wait till DC when all the recruiters get confused and pick up the wrong player. Someone slips through and gold.

By the look of things, Morabito will slip through.

If it was Masten you would've been knocked the **** out by then.
But Thornton was there, and who knows what would have happened when Masten's anti-matter was there? It would have been like two black holes colliding.

A TERRITORY man claims his pet cat can speak English, with a vocabulary of seven different words so far.

Robert 'RJ' Duncan, of Palmerston, says his budgie Piccaninny can also speak.

But when the Northern Territory News first visited the ex-boxer, 34, and his wife Sandra, 32, at their Gray home, the house-bound moggie grumpily declined to comment.

Instead, he scratched Mr Duncan a few times before bolting to his bedroom and barricading himself in his cupboard.

During a second visit, Mischief was much friendlier - and more talkative. All gathered heard him speak to Sandra, calling her "mum".

Mr Duncan said the two-year-old cat - which he and his wife adopted from his feral mother in Katherine - was most vocal at night.

"He starts mouthing off when he wants his food - when we start cooking," he said.

"He can say seven words all up: mum, no, now, what, f**k, prick and why.
"He can't say 'dad' yet, which is a bit of a prick. That's how he got the word 'prick' I reckon, because I say it a lot."

Mr Duncan - sitting at their wooden table rolling a roll-your-own - said Mischief's first word was "mum", which he started saying about the age of six months.

Human babies are a little slower - they can usually manage to produce a slurred "mama" or "dada" about 10 months of age.

Mr Duncan said Mischief wasn't apeing the words - he knew what he was saying.

"He calls out to (Sandra) and everything - he'll sit at the back window, while she's in the garden, calling out 'mum'.

"In the evening time, if you don't drop whatever you're doing and pay attention to him, he calls you 'f**k prick'. If he really cracks the s**ts, he'll piss in his drinking water just to let you know he's really s***ty."
The foul-mouthed feline doesn't take non-attention kindly. During the Duncans' wedding it swore at guests.

Mr Duncan said the guests were pre-warned, so "they pretty much ignored him".

The Duncans' budgie is less adventurous with its words.
It just says "s**t".

Mr Duncan will now be trying to film his moggie to prove Mischief can really talk.

"He's a character ... he's one of these cats that's a bit too brainy for his own good."

"Mr Duncan said the two-year-old cat - which he and his wife adopted from his feral mother in Katherine - was most vocal at night."

This is a little ambiguous...

May I be the first to ask who exactly was the cat's mother?

By the sounds of it, it could very well be Mr Duncan's.

That's a good point, just look at Rich last year.
Injured towards the end of the year, leading to rumours that he was lazy, and then it was recorded at draft camp that had the smallest hands and shortest arms in the draft, so he fell to 7. Shows how recruiters can sometimes get carried away with how draftees fair in the athleticism tests, rather that just looking at HOW WELL THEY CAN PLAY FOOTBALL!!!:D

Man loses licence riding horse drunk
DANIEL BOURCHIER
August 30th, 2009

A TERRITORY man has been banned from driving after he was caught riding a horse while drunk.

Martin Graham was banned for six months from riding his horse in public places by a Tennant Creek magistrate last week.

It was alleged before he lost his driving licence, he walked his horse through a pub in the Outback town.

A local source, who asked not to be named, said the man was well known for his outlandish antics.

"I heard he rode through the pub - he used to work there - he had (the horse) tied up outside and someone complained," the source said. "So he rode through Jackson's Bar, in to the beer garden, and out the back through the drive-through."

Mr Graham, believed to be 33, was reportedly warned by police not to ride his horse home from the Tennant Creek Hotel in April.

It is believed he was hoisted on to the horse and galloped up the street, shouting "yee haa".

It is understood that police again told him to walk the horse home, but he rode off and was arrested the next day.

He was spotted riding north along Paterson St from the Tennant Creek Hotel to the Sporties Club. A Tennant Creek magistrate on Thursday disqualified the man from driving - and riding his horse - for six months over the incident.

He was also fined nearly $1000.
The Sunday Territorian understands the man is now living interstate. Tennant Creek Hotel management could not be contacted for comment last night.

Re: RDT 44?? In memory of Huntttaa and Fletchaaaa and Barry

cats for me also, i just dont think you can discount a team that contains G.Ablett.

they've got their injuries but when theyre up and going...theyre one of the best sides ever seen.

the saints have looked very mortal in the past 3 weeks, i wouldn't be surprised if the pies knocked them off next week.

its going to be interesting either way.

adelaide the smokey outside the top 4, very clinical team.

Re: RDT 44?? In memory of Huntttaa and Fletchaaaa and Barry

So, here we are... the business end of the season. Whose footy cuisine will reign supreme?

My money's on the Cats to break some Saint hearts.

Adelaide with their German efficiency for the dark horse as they make Essendon and Collingwood look like Poland.

Re: RDT 44?? In memory of Huntttaa and Fletchaaaa and Barry

The Bullies.

Surely having those many midfielders means they can bring it home.

I think the Saints will turn it on when it matters, but its so even this year, and the best two teams havent had the best run in... which levels it up for the other teams.

At least every game will be close, whereas last season it was just waiting for the Cats to play the Hawks...

How things have changed however since round 16 or so...

A POPULAR confectionery is causing an uproar in Europe after a flood of complaints about its packaging.
Claims have been made that the fruit figures that appear on Haribo MAOAM sour candies are engaging in sex acts.
