I'm the same. This morning I got home at about 3 AM and then I grabbed my computer, and went to bed and watched Geelong v. Adelaide live on Setanta Sports even though it was awful. I fell asleep sometime during the final quarter.I'm glad to see that your spirit lives on Moo. Maybe there is a chance that you'll still be able to see Tarrant come good yet! :thumbsu:

Ummm, then again, I retract that now that I think about it. :)

Holy shit where did you come from.

Welcome anyways:thumbsu:

Can the first bloody round of the nab cup just be over already? As if wait 3 weeks to know which teams get knocked out.

I've got a tenner on Sydney to win by 1-39 today.
$5 odds were too good to pass up. Especially considering the pea-sized hearts on the Power.

Our appeal spreads like chlamydia.

It started with something pretty sexy until you realise you need that discharge looked at.

Cricket Updates

Sri Lanka 5/614
Jayawardene and Samaraweera had a partneship of 437
And to think, we have to play pakistan next summer :D

Victoria 7/131
Chasing 187
Cameron White doing his best to lose the game for victoria after running out hussey, then throwing his wicket away
The final should go down to the wire. Crossy and Wright are in at the moment

Presidents 11 4-88
Bolinger with two quick wickets, but nothing else on a batsmans paradise
Although as i speak mcgain takes a wicket. Still going at 7 an over

F*ck off, whats wrong with it. ( i dont live there, i just don't see whats wrong with it)
Nah nothing wrong really .......:D

East Fremantle, Bicton, Attadale, Applecross and Mt Pleasant are all ok.

I mean to be honest they are far better than Peppermint Grove or Nedlands on the opposite side of Stirling hwy to the river....... (river side still wins).

South Perth is ok too.

To be honest once I'm done with Uni I will be out of here faster than Perth's housing price climb of 2-3 years ago.

Kichijoji>Aoyoma>North Fitzroy>Elwood>anywhere in Perth lol.

Quoi le merde??!!
How the f*** are they better than peppi grove, one of the nicest suburbs in perth?? You are partialy correct in saying that river side nedlands is better than karakatta side, but it is still nice over there.
Some of south perth is nice, like the area around washington street.

Peppermint Grove on the other side of Stirling Highway is pretty shit.....

A lot of old over priced houses.

Having been to UWA with lots of friends who have attended the same uni, so many of us have spent a fair bit of time renting in the area.

Words can also not express my hate for Stirling Hwy..... as gay as it is we also have a facebook group dedicated to it's hatred.

Peppy Grove along the river is pretty fantastic though, but Mosman Park in the fairly new (4 odd years old) minmi cove estate (I think?), is nicer than Nedlands.

East Fremantle and Applecross have some really really nice parts to them, as does Fremantle...... but like anywhere much of these suburbs are just judged nice because of land value.

Your opinion therefore means **** all.

Really why is that?

I was simply stating that because I was studying at the University close by, I have rented and a lot of my friends have rented in the area..... no need to be a douche.

Have lived quite a few places in Perth, Melbourne and overseas, I don't really like that section on the opposite side of Stirling hwy along the river in comparison to some of the other places I have lived.... it's no big deal.

Peppi grove finishes at stirling highway. The other side is just east cott, unless they've changed the planning arrangements.
I live 100m or so from that bloody highway, don't get me started....

Ahhhh kk yeah they lived on Forrest or Albion.

Most of us have rented in Claremont or Nedlands on the riverside closer to the Uni, a couple of times in proper houses but mostly in those two story villa places closest to the university.

It's the case though in a lot of places, that housing close to the highway is pretty substandard but still expensive.

Which suburb do you live in BTW?

claremont, specifically claremont hill, across the highway from MLC and christchurch, 200m or so from the border of cott.

Kewl. It's crazy how much land costs in Perth in comparison to the Melbourne equivalents.....

For a short while there (early last year/2007) prices around my dads place/where I lived, went through a huge jump. Now understandably they are decreasing just as quick across a lot of Melb.

So far I guess we have been insulated in Perth due to the high demand, but I wonder how long this will last.

How did that go for you. Should have taken the Swans to choke with a controversial Roos comment late in the game at $1.07... Absolute shoe-in...

Pun somewhat intended...

I've been tipping a port resurgence for a while now. Will take sydneys spot in the top 8 IMO. Richmond, Carlton and Brisbane to challenge Adelaide and North for 7 and 8.

Post home and away season:
Geelong
Hawthorn
WB
StK
Collingwood
Port
Richmond
Adelaide

Carlton
North
Sydney
Brisbane
WC
Essendon
Freo
Melbourne

Top 4 won't be the same two years in a row. Statistically, it just doesn't happen for one reason or another.

I think Port could be a real surprise and sneak into the top 4 you know. Not that playing Sydney in a NAB Cup means much, they'd kick Supergoals for the other team if they could.

Saints only fell into top 4 by default, no way they'll make it again. My tip to replace them is Freo.

You don't want to hear my tip for the spoon.
