Not even close BSA. Of course, if I was a Stephen, then I'd prefer the French form of the name which is Etienne.

Okay. I was named this because my parents already had 3 boys. They wanted a little girl. They gave me this name because of it's meaning. I actually get called the shortened version of the name.

my parents started off with a girl then had 5 boys in a row !

When the much anticipated new girl arrived she was named 'Stella' , Italian for star.

Dunno what you would be called though, if you get called the shotened version then maybe a Cathy or Kate or Meg or Pip (Philippa).

You might even be something a little more exclusive like Trixie (Beatrice) Trudy (Gertrude) or even Lottie (Charlotte)
