Where do you find the cars?

If you go to a general store there will be deeds to a horse with a 1-3 star rating and how fast it is, use the descriptions there to try and get a good one.

The pearl coloured one is alright, but not brilliant.

If you buy a deed to a horse then you basically get infinite lives for the horse, without a deed it only needs to die once for you to lose it.

cause when i was in Armadillo earlier tonight i heard 2 guys assaulting a woman so i took it upon myself to be the saviour and they started stabbing her (and killed her obviously) but when i jumped off the horse and tried to lasso/hogtie the first guy the other dude opened fire and killed my horse!

that horse was awesome to...i'm seriously spewing now that i won't have it anymore.

it doesn't alter anything about your character stats for multiplayer or affect your wanted level in the single player game i'm assuming?

Stats wise I'm not sure. but you can level up your player in the free roam as you need to (since the donkey you're given as your transportation sucks "ass") and it helps people who want to play the game in free roam and nothing else to get characters and stuff. It doesn't affect how good you are in anyway though (as in you won't get better/stronger weapons for competitive and such). Wanted level is only online, doesn't affect offline what-so-ever.

Has anyone done the flowers side quest yet? Many lulz were had when I completed it

I've been picking them up whenever I see them, but I haven't looked anywhere near in-depth enough to see what I am meant to be collecting exactly.

I did join it. Look, it's not hugely worth your while to do. But you do get a couple of extra's (an extra outfit and another challenge) and it only takes about a minute to sign up and link your account.

I'm not sure that cars will appear. There's the obvious shot in the very first cutscene of a car. But I think this is meant to be just before cars are mainstream. Horse and Carriage is very similar though.

Got the game on the 19th.

Shooting system is better than i thought it would be, great graphics outside the cutscenes.

Carriages are pretty awsome to steer.

Im currently caught up playing ModNation Racers.

Only problem I really have with the game is the difficulty, I think out of the 10 or so hours I have played I have only failed 2 missions and died maybe twice. Not much of a challenge.

Try maybe switching the aiming to expert? Might offer up a bit more of a challenge in the aiming stakes as I am pretty sure the snap auto aim is taken out of it.

They must at some point as in STATS it has the usual openworld stats like
DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY:
Foot
Horse
Train
Car etc

It may have said CART also but CAR is definitely there so who knows.

Someone on my friends list has finished the single player in under 15hours so it isn't going to be as long as I thought.
On that note, I've done barely 5 story missions in 2+hours.
Done a few stranger missions and plenty of exploring.

Got savaged by a cougar out of no where. Coyotes & wolves were a bit the same.

Trying to resist playing the multiplayer til I get used to the aiming/shooting and particularly, the weapon select.
The upcoming river boat survival thing looks awesome though.

The missions are actually easier then the challenges and searching for treasure etc

Whats the highest bounty anyone has had on their head so far? Mine is only like $140, but I'm being a good guy for my first play through. Next time around I'm going to be a bad ass

I put bait down to attract wolves and out of nowhere a cougar ****ed me up! I saw it coming but was armed with a knife, not enough time to change to the shot gun

Taking on a wolf pack using only a knife to pass another challenge isn't particulary easy either.

When I did this I must have been near a respawn spot for the wolves, killed 17 of them, just knifing like crazy. Good money from the pelts though.

Had a weird glitch happen to me right now. Was completing a mission which involved killing a whole bunch of people. When I pressed R1 to duck behind cover, I was lifted 20 metres into the air, and fell to my death!!

EDIT: ha ha, now it has frozen!

In free roam my friend and I each racked up a bounty of $2000 when we decided to shoot up a town. We're gonna aim for $5000+

Just saw the funniest thing, don't know if it is a glitch as such. I was riding to a mission and this guy comes running up saying his wagon got stolen. I go and get it and when I bring it back he says "Oh thank you sir, this wagon is my life." He then gets on and while he is trying to turn I get back on my horse. Just as I am riding past, he crashes into a cactus, jumps off the wagon and runs away.

So much for the wagon being his life.

Now if only games where you really want to play your own music (i.e. sports games in menus where you are forced to listen to mediocre at best sound tracks, also GTA when you've listened to the radio enough) would get on board.

He must've absolutely rushed through.

People said GTA IV was about 15-20 hours. Myself, I took 60 hours two times over.

I think I've done around 5 story missions and 3 stranger missions so far for about 6 hours played. No way this will take anywhere near 15 hours.

HAHA. Damn cougar's. I went to collect a bounty and had hopped off to grab some of the flowers/herbs and got thrashed by one, but managed to kill it before it came around again. Then I get back onto my horse to go to the bounty I make it there and get off a bit before so as not to draw attention to myself. And another friggen cougar jumps me, this time I can't see it anywhere and it swipes me again from behind and I die.

I don't think so (not that I've tried). It's not really the type of game that would suit Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus playing in the background.

The music that plays over the top of the game while you're playing is very good and really suits the game perfectly.
