yeah man, I totally agree. The amount of value for money you get is just nothing short of ****ing insane. And it's SO Rockstar! The Sasquatch mission encapsulates that for mine. How could you kill him??? Surely not. I let the poor bugger live.

Speaking of so Rockstar though... wait til you get to the end...

Herbert Moon was hilarious. "I hate blacks, jews, Catholics, Gays, British. And women. LOL
Easily the best rant I've heard in a game. Surprised it was even allowed too. But my god was it funny.:D
re sasquatch,
Seeing as he doesn't eat babies, I let him live. Was kinda hoping I'd be able to go back there or perhaps run into him again. Who knows. I couldn't shoot him with the act he put on.
That was the only reason I let him live. Thought maybe, just maybe later on you'd run into him.

Also figured if Sasquatch sightings in the future were to happen he couldn't die.
Bit sad it's over. (although it may not be) Nothing new now. I've only had 1 go of the co-op. I'll play if we're on at the same time. Don't make the mistake of reviving downed players though (unless they're in the clear, which is unlikely). Just finish the round. You'll love the narrator again.
Definitely up for a co-op session some time.:thumbsu:

Riding around at night can be darn scary, especially when you hear the sudden roar of a cougar. They can take your horse down in one hit and you're practically dead then.

Bought the add on today. The zombie single player is pretty cool. Just got down into mexico now.

Poor Bonnie, nothing goes right for her, does it?

That damn flaming horse of the apocolypse always turns up when i'm doing something then disappears. Pissing me off.

Just got it yesterday and already racked up way more hours than i was expecting. Havent been this addicted to a game since stick cricket.

Few things though, and they have probably been covered, but

1)how easy is it to travel back to new austin once you are in mexico? does this sort of thing happen easily or does it forfeit some of your success in mexico?

2)Is it worth having much money and/or keeping the things you collect?

3)Is everything in the shop worth buying and is there an advantage to buying a horse? Never seems to be a shortage of them when you whistle.

4) pushing it a bit with 4 questions, but there are so many to ask.......trying to do it as a good guy, but does your bounty ever disappear? Do you have to pay it off and does getting killed lose it?

As i said, probably so much more to ask, but what a game. Way better than the great game i was expecting.

Firstly, I'm jealous of you having the full Red Dead experience (including Zombies!!) in front of you.

Re your questions:

1) you can travel wherever, whenever, assuming you've opened the areas by progressing through the game. You will not lose progress. One thing that's really useful that I didn't realize for a while is that you can set your Waypoint on the map and quick travel there (by setting up camp) rather than needing to go to a specific location. Thetas really useful.

2) Sell, sell, sell!! You want the money, keeping a pound of wolf hearts on your person does no one any good.

3) most shit is useful. Having unlimited deadeye, for eg, can be a really useful thing (ie moonshine etc). The more expensive horses are just better - faster, more stamina - so worth getting, although I had the Warhorse dlc.

4) can't remember if getting killed clears your bounty, don't think it does. Honestly though, unless you're a real bad ass you don't get too many posse's on your ass. Also, I found those letters seemed to clear any issues I had.

Enjoy the game mate, it's a ****ing cracker

Is undead nightmare worth the $38 on disc by itself ?

Not really, only if you're an avid competitive RDR MP player.

You just don't get a whole lot apart from Undead Nightmare. Best to just buy the DLC (and RDR if you don't have it) and you'll get a game that's worth about 70+ hours of gameplay (if you really want it to stretch like I did) with pretty competent co-op modes, but nothing great in the competitive MP stakes IMO.

Basically all you get in the Undead Nightmare pack is the Undead Nightmare DLC which is a good 10-12 hours long with all the DLC for the competitive MP which adds a few extra maps and modes.

I cannot aim for shit on Undead Nightmare. Fair enough you need to shoot them in the head but i find **** all ammo and even with high sensitivity i find it moves too slow considering the speed they come at you. Can you make the crosshair bigger, i'm quite good at shooting games but i am struggling quite badly at this, haven't died yet or anything but waste so much ammo.

I save a town, use prob like 30 ammo, and get rewarded with 7 bullets HUZZAH!

Maybe a stupid question...but do you use deadeye?

Will there be a GOTY edition?

Will there be a GOTY edition?
Potentially yes, but not for another 4-5 months at least.

Buying RDR and the Undead Nightmare DLC is still the best option.:D

uhhh

Stupid answer coming up. Not really. Like I have before, I knew I was forgetting something really basic I guess that what you get when you haven't played it for months. Is there a way to fill it up (answer may be a spoiler)

Thanks.

also, i didn't really use it much in the normal single player only for those challenges/achievements.

deadeye is essential. It replenishes pretty quickly. Can't remember if you can source moonshine or shit on this one to fill it up, but either way, it comes back pretty quickly.

I found I had heaps of ammo from not long into the game btw, it's out there. Make sure you smash the ammo caches, and don't forget to search the corpses of zombies, they are usually packing a fair bit of heat

Refills itself in time. I think you can also use chewing tobacco to make it come back quicker?

But yeah...use deadeye dude

Is there still a decent sized community on multiplayer? I remember just riding around shooting other peoples horses or sniping people trying to do the hideouts, literally spent a good part of a few hours annoying these 2 guys, good times, good times.

Just got the game. Been amazing so far. Very in depth and you could spend hours in one session without even realizing.

Any tips on how to get certain things(guns/clothes) fastern?

Have done a few little mission so far and found the first treasure and hunted a bit but that's it.

Find it very hard to resist the urge not to play it like GTA.

Its an awesome game man, I'm actually playing it again.

I think guns get unlocked as missions go ahead (you pick them up/they automatically come up for you). Clothes you gotta unlock by doing certain missions/side missions. If you are referring how to get enough money, hunt animals and skin them. You get pretty decent coin for that stuff. :thumbsu:

Cheers mate. Yeah has been absolutely fantastic so far. Even multiplayer is a bunch of fun.

I've been hunting a bit today to get the money as you suggested. Any tips for hunting ? I normally don't use bait and just have a look around btu if needed I'll plant some bait but is it normal for a few animals of 1 kind to rock up and go straight away. I am also a fair distance away.
