Better VFL judges can answer. But from the fog of premier hangover I recall he was accurate in VFL...
Kicked 32.16 in the VFL, which is good going in terms of accuracy.

He's the player I'm most excited to see in 2024. Think he'll deliver on the promise.

Just does not need to get Injured like he has last few seasons

Looking forward to his “shootout” for that spot v Johnson. I’m backing him in.
You can see how bad he wants it. The one thing that stood out to me yesterday in the drills, is his hunt for the tackle. He’s crushing blokes. I’m guessing that’s what has been flagged for him if he wants to play that 3rd tall role.

Reef remains a huge prospect and it should be remembered that he was drafted with a back issue that hampered his development early on. He is still only relatively young and, I suspect, is growing into his body. I really liked what Reef showed early on and I think there were glimpses of what he might become. He could be another DeGoey-like big-bodied mid that is a difficult match-up when forward. I still feel he deserves time to continue his development and, like Fin, will be hard to dislodge from the team once he established himself.

And if I remember correctly, when Reef was really starting to show something in 2022 having played a few games in a row, he did his shoulder in the middle of the season.

And we all know how difficult it was to break back into the 2023 side.

Dont forget his finger injury and syndemosis in 2021 that basically wiped out his year.
Then his shoulder injury in 2022.

Reef is only 22 days older than Nick despite being recruited 1 year earlier.

Technically this might well be his 4th season but when you consider his age, height and more importantly what COVID and injury cost him across 20/21 in terms of development in reality his situation is more akin to a player entering his 3rd season at the club.

Health wise, you could say this is his 2nd year. The others basically were cruelled by injury and couldnt get a decent run.

And he missed the second half of 2022 when he did his shoulder after stringing together about half a dozen games in a row.

Yep, he should be slightly ahead of Nick Daicos in his development - or perhaps on par. Bloody disappointing.

in the latest "pump-up" story, jordan clark at freo says that fyfe is back to his best....so i expect brownlow this year. He also said that Amiss is a jeremy cameron clone....so the pump-ups by our players and coaches look pretty feeble in comparison.

Reef...

Wow.

He dominated match sim this morning. Kicked 5-6 goals, took some great marks.

Jen, please, I’ve been trying very hard not to get my hopes up… it’s getting increasingly difficult!

Training Report:
In lovely conditions for footy, Reef was shit and Finn looks like a spud.
