Yep and most of them were making fun of idiotic posts from idiotsGet your hand off it mate you had the most posts by far on our covid and darling thread .
Not so sure. The AFL orchestrated the entire thing. Plan for players top leave the ground etc and this was well pubisised asa plan so that people could run onto the ground. Majot PR win for the AFL. Not that I like the Swans - but smart and well handled by Buddy in particular.Awesome sight to see Buddy kick his 1000th goal, a milestone that likely will never be repeated.
But Jeebus, the AFL, SCG and NSW Police dropped a massive one on the security front there.
I think everybody gave a collective sigh of relief once the crowd started to dissipate without any issues.
As the missus said so very casually, "Imagine if it was someone in the middle that you didn't like - if it was Dangerfield, you'd just go in and smash him one".

Looks like they've got their major backBrisbane clearly thought they could just turn up. Getting smashed.
Sure have. That was a temporary comeback by the looks of it.Looks like they've got their major back

Hahaha what was Stewart doing there? Dumbest play of the year
So many people saying the guy that took the ball last night has done nothing wrong and should charge the Swans to have it back. Am I missing something here? He has basically stole the AFL's property. Just send a cop over there and get the thing.
Nah, you can get a decent amount of PR out of playing it right. Give him a meet and greet with Bud, signed merch, corporate box etc. Don't play hard ball unless it's a last resortSo many people saying the guy that took the ball last night has done nothing wrong and should charge the Swans to have it back. A sherrin costs a bit more than a baseball or cricket ball and its not really an accepted thing to keep a footy.Any different to a foul ball/home run in baseball or when a ball gets hit out of the ground in cricket?
That ball is worth a mint and the guy probably knows that.
Yeah, the culture at footy is like cricket- the ball belongs to the ground/league/association. If it goes to the crowd, give it back.A sherrin costs a bit more than a baseball or cricket ball and its not really an accepted thing to keep a footy.
Its not going to be worth much if they are looking for it. Unless you can sell it black market.
And if his mates are anything like Tom Morris' he'd get outed in about 5 minutesYeah, the culture at footy is like cricket- the ball belongs to the ground/league/association. If it goes to the crowd, give it back.
I don't think they should go hard at the bloke, take the opportunity to reward him. He should also take the opportunity to give it back and look like a decent person.
It's a shit trophy for a fan anyway. You had nothing to do with it and are refusing to give it to the man who actually worked his arse off to hit an amazing milestone. Everyone who saw it at your house would also know you essentially stole it.
I've been a critic of Neal at times as a slow mid that gets the ball but doesn't hurt you (eg T Mitchell from Hawks) but he was amazing today. He gone to another level since getting to Brissy, has great disposal and frequent chooses dangerous options.Theres a certain joy in watching Lachie Neale dominate a game and knowing he isn’t doing it for Freo
Its been a strange phenomenon since their inception. Imagine Pav or Fyfe at another club. Would have been unstoppable. It would be interesting to do a list of all the ex Freo players in the league who are doing decent things. From the top of my head : Neale, Langdon, Hogan when fit, Weller.
