Yep. After finishing 5th we probably couldn't ask for it to be set up any better (8 day break off easyish win, compared to 7 days off a wet close tough game).

None of that means anything if we don't show up with intent and desire, but if we do then the above may be factors if the game is close.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for the Geelong home final matter. We know the VFL is a corrupt rigged comp. But seriously, they (Geelong) play 7-8 home games at the dump and the remainder in high drawing matches at the MCG. Their home games are against interstate and smaller Vic clubs which builds their percentage. They don’t have the travel burden, still have the same games in VIC as the big three.

The VFL is all about money. The MCG is a listed home ground for the Cats. That is where they play their home finals, at the ground which maximises attendances. Sucked in whingers

Think Richmond are waltzing this in if we’re not there to stop them. Between Geelong, Brisbane and Collingwood they don’t really look as threatening (can add us to that list at times as well but our best is top 2 quality). I’d also be giving the Bulldogs a sneaky chance if they got a run on.

Took Geelong too long to get going in the end. They aren't a super team that's for sure, but they're better than what they showed and should be up for it from the first quarter next week.

AFL, so nothing is ever guaranteed, but they can play all 4 teams off min 7 day breaks, or they can schedule 2 teams off 6 days, 1 off 8 and 1 off 9.

Would be crazy to have Geelong v us any other time than Friday night.
