They’ve requested to play at Metricon, Dimma has confirmed.

I’d surely think play at AO to get familiarity before playing Port, or play at the Gabba where the GF is, but they want Metricon.

In fairness to Richmond (and Geelong), as the losers from qualifying finals they should be entitled to request venues to maximise their advantage next week.

Lions not raising up their skirt under relentless pressure in the 2nd and a one two three punching of Richmond at the end of the turn was gritty and made the match along with their better use of opps inside 50..still think head scratching chip shot misses will cost them in the PF or GF.

The mental glitches the Tigers displayed from end of the 2nd on set them off their game as much as Brisbane's effort..it was interesting and satisfying to watch.

All for Richmond getting a game on the Gold Coast next week as it would eliminate the chances of us somehow getting screwed over into playing a match against Geelong there rather than at the Gabba if we beat Collingwood.

Cats request finals be played at GMHBA and are firmly told no, it’s about capacity and revenue.

They do request some home games at MCG against certain sides, given they have a quota to fill of “home” MCG games, they try to make those be against the big earners.

I get that, but I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking about who you would go for if we don't make it.

Do you really not care if Richmond wins again, as opposed to a team like Brisbane doing it? I think objectively it would be a great story. Good young team with a lot of likeable players, playing an exciting brand of footy, just a few years after it looked like Aussie Rules in Queensland was dead in the water. If we don't make it, it's a no brainer who my second preference is. And **** Richmond.

When I'm watching non-Eagles games I can't help myself from barracking for someone. As a general rule it's the other non-Vic teams that get my support. I find Port a lot less unlikeable in 2020 than they've been in a long time, but I still prefer Brissy. I'm always a sucker for an underdog, so if the Saints or Dogs want to do some damage then I'm all for that, although I suspect one of them will be copping a flogging for the ages next weekend.

Really solid career, very consistent, was a solid pick for Brissy.

Rich was deadset average until about 2 years ok and has had a lot of injury.

In 2008 there was a lot of speculation if we would take Nic Nat, Rich or Watts in the draft. We made the right choice by a long way.
