Ridiculously low, especially considering the compromised nature of this year's draft if that is true.

Feel North have played the whole situation with Brown terribly and now find themselves in a position (of their own making) where they will end up cashing him in for well short of his true value.

And they don't want to offer Anderson more.

I'm not as big a fan as some (at least one) here - but surely they can find an extra $50k to keep one of their few decent players in that age range.

Adjust payment schedule of existing contracts. Got someone on 300kPA? Front load them 500k one season, 100k the next, bank the warchest and go hunt the next Gaff or Dusty.
