Is it just my opinion or does grundy go missing/choke on the big stage.

Always seemed to go missing whenever he plays us.

It comes back to what value a ruckman actually adds. I think that the only high value ruckman are those with high hit-outs to advantage that help you win clearances. Nic Nat and Goldstein are two examples. Otherwise, you are better off with a middle string ruckman that at least halves the contest, which we've achieved quite well with our stop gaps over the years, that cost little (Vardy, Hickey, Sinclair, Giles, Petrie).

Grundy is valued because he gets a lot of ball around the ground like an extra midfielder. I think the Bulldogs have a better idea in relation to that, with their approach of just playing an extra midfielder. I have never seen why you would pay him $1M, it would have been better to go after a gun mid or forward for that cash and pick up a couple of B graders to cover the ruck, like we manage to do.

OK I'm just gonna come out and say it, Ritz and Jatz both taste like shite and detract from whatever food is on top of them. I prefer a plain or cracked pepper water cracker or even plain Sakata rice crackers. For me crackers are just to carry the food and maybe add a bit of texture, not inject that sicky half sweet half salty chemical taste.
