Whitnall too big a risk your thoughts?

Given we are repleneshing our list & Tippett & Sellar waiting in the wings, what would be the point?Whitnall too big a risk your thoughts?
Yeah, exactly.Dont blame you guys for trying. If anything its a compliment to the truck.
What do you think his motivations would be in a move to Carlton though? Wont be a big increase in salary, with the million dollar man settling down at the blues. I dont see why hed leave his home state to travel to Carlton...

).Now that we are rebulding, Goodwin being captain is a step back. Thompson or Rutten have to be captain. When does Goody's contract run out??Judd goes to the blues & all of a sudden they are a very attractive club to play for... they are still gonna be crap for another 2-3 years.. if Judds got chronic groin problems & they dont manage to keep Gibbs there they will alwas be stuffed
wouldnt be suprised if Rutten is captain next year, got a feeling it aint gonna be Goodwin
Judd signing with Carlton brings Gibbs closer. Two years time there will be cap pressure and thats when Goody and Edwards will retire. I hope Adelaide have started working on it now and invited his parents to dinner fora chat.
not with juddy and murph. paycuts for premierships.....hopefully
Pay cut's are usually taken in this respect, AFTER a premiership. You better hope you get that flag, and the 5/6 th's of the list the rest of the cap represents, even after this flag, still accept all these pay cuts.
I would hope for the Blues sake (that is, I would hope if I didn't think they were scum), that the Blues board aren't relying on this fairy tale, because it may well never come true.
Judd's the best player in the AFL, but he's still a BIG risk in my eyes.
Reckon Judd will spend his money more wisely than Cousins too.Why is he a big risk? We're paying Judd just as much as you were paying Cousins before his 'issues' were revealed?

Doesn't Gibb's contract run out at the end of 2008?
Now that we've been screwed over by the Bulldogs and Melbourne, we now know the ropes of successful trading.
Wait until the player is uncontracted, he says he is leaving, he nominates only the Crows as the team he wants to go to and we then negotiate an under valued exchange of draft picks and players for him.
Easy.
It seemed to work well for Melbourne, the Bulldogs, and of course, Carlton themselves with the Judd deal.

It would appear some of these players were approached before they came out of contract.
I agree we should play the same game, but preferably with clubs who have done the dirty on us.
When is Ryan Griffin out of contract? Couldn't be worth more than a 3rd rounder.![]()
