Roast Rioli's chicken wing tackle on Warnock: MRP failure

Would love a response from the AFL tribunal, Rioli is a serial offender. Judd's looked bad, but Rioli is doing the exact same and to worse affect.

But the biggest thing in Rioli's favour is that he wears the two toned baby shit brown of Whorethorn instead of the noble Old Dark Navy Blue of Carlton. You can bet that if he was wearing navy blue, the media would have been screaming down the house about it already and he would have been investigated by Fat Vlad and his anti-Carlton cronies.

funny... but the guy that Judd apparently deliberately went out of his way to try and hurt, finished the match and has played for all the weeks that Judds been off. Since the Hawks game, Knockers had only played 1 game in the VFL and has been unavailable due to either suspension or injury because of the Rioli incident.

Judd grabbed the arm to stop Patch from trying to handball and Carrots took him to the ground and cause his arm to get bent into an unnatural position. Rioli grabbed Knockers arm and dragged him over and down while someone else had hold of Knockers.

Good post. Rioli's tackle is a very good example of a chicken wing tackle. What Judd did is not a chicken wing tackle. It may have been outside the spirit of the tackling rules, but to call it a chicken wing tackle is using a significant amount of licence.

Judd himself called it a brain fade, and pleaded guilty in the first instance. I think evidence is there regarding his intent.

Rioli's tackle (yes it is a "chicken wing") is what as a small player he should be doing, at his size and build he will not take warnock to ground, however he can try and strip or dispose him of the ball, it is the best option for him in that circumstance.

Juddy is back this week and hopefully 206 can redeem with a full preseason and impress next year.

If warnock had not have gotten injured I doubt the issue would even be getting disgussed.

Point being is regardless if we agree or disagree, think Juddy should or shouldn't have gotten rubbed out, it is bad sportsmanship and sour grapes to wish rioli be rubbed out, as it would be the same to wish hurt on Lonergan this week end.
