There is no pride or work ethic showing in our players today. I reckon this is what our culture has done to them.
Again- a coaching issue. Players aren't dropped when they should be.

This was entirely predictable and I said as much in the preview thread.

We only have three midfielders in the team - Cerra, Cripps and Hewett. Williams has been ok but isn't a mid. It was an issue before Walsh went down and is a glaring hole now. TDK has been papering over this a little but is totally neutralised by Xerri

Coming back from Perth on a 6 day break, against a team on the verge we were always going to lose.


What I didn't expect was that complete capitulation, and starting with our most senior players. Cripps, Curnow, Weitering, TDK, Saad and Doherty was awful that quarter - in effort, skills and body language. Complete white flag shown by the leaders of the team.

Aside from Williams and Pittonet very few players can hold their heads up at half time. Played like millionaires and blew chances when in front then folded when it went the other way. I expected a lossz but not like this

We're bad, there is no doubt about it.

We look slow, our forwards don't present, our game plan going inside 50 is garbage.

What does our midfield do when they aren't getting hands on the ball? Voss has never had an answer for this. Modern teams tackle and tackle and tackle their way back into the game. We get run rings around us.

Pushed really hard to build a big bodied slow midfield, no consideration for kicking skills, inability to draft forwards... Losing Cuningham, Martin, Owies... Even a fit Dow out there would make a differnce.

It's time to change the coach, just hope there is someone out there who's good enough and willing to rebuild the team in the image of a modern football side.

Horrendous first half display. The worst I've seen us play under Voss. Zero effort. North just waltzing it out of the middle and killing us on the spread. Zero forward structure. Skills are worse than the VFL and goalkicking in perfect conditions is unacceptable.

The coach will cope the blame but the players should be ashamed with whatever that was.

Because Xeri monsters TDK. The turn in the game came when TDK went into the ruck. Pitto may be a donkey, but he neutralises X.

Don’t bother. Just pure deflection. We have players that play like list cloggers. But Voss is not a good coach.

It's always circular. Who hold these players accountable? They've played 2 good quarters out of our last 12 or so. We have seen some crazy brain fades from experienced players. Where are the examples being set?

Docherty got 2 games in the VFL for his sins. Anyone else? Nope. 14th game for the year and the only name dropped was Docherty.

Sadly it feels like players have had enough and dam is about to burst. Body language is awful
