I reckon we're a show next week!Like I said, folks. Underdog wins these
Perfect replacement for Davey with the pressure he put oni think the snelling inclusion is the most important one. even in games we’ve won we’ve lacked tackling pressure & i think today he stood out not only because of that but just general pressure which allowed langers & drapes to have success
Yep. Definitely outworked the DeesThe thing I noticed today was the way they would back eachother up. If we didn’t take the mark there would be another there to mop it up.
I both held firm and came hard
I think our rucks put them on the back foot early. Gawn also a massive out for them he can turn a match through the air. Later on when they had to get going it was our team pressure and then it rained. Individually I don’t see us as worlds apart from last year but collectively we are a few levels ahead. Setters lock down job on Oliver was super important too.Ok, serious reply now. I actually don't know what to make I can't tell if they just turned up and decided to give a 70% effort for the first three quarters (they controlled the centre square in the last) or if we just bossed them by outrunning them and having an extra number at most contests then were able to slice them with excellent ball use.
Collingwood will definitely bring a much bigger effort next week. They will be even more vulnerable to our rucks, however, trying to counter their run off half-back will be a new challenge and continuing to try to penetrate their defence that can push too high will be a test of the mindset. With the current form of Geelong and Richmond, the next block of games might not be so bad after all!
Same. Butter chicken from a packet at this end. Lightning quick!Great win. Loved Langers game. We seem to be a much better team when Philips and Draper both play. I think that was Merretts best game for the season so far. Snelling was a great inclusion.
Following up on my post last week; I hate 4:10 games, as I have to try and make dinner at halftime.Tonight was creamy mustard chicken with chargrilled broccoli on a bed of rice. I nearly messed it up though as I was very distracted by our tense but exciting 3rd quarter, where we somehow managed to keep them goalless.
