Highly probable match up on the weekend, as Darcy has been given Fevola and Hale in the last 2 rounds...and it has me doing cartwheels. By no means is this a slight on Darcy, i know him quite well and think he will be a very good player for the dons...but i cant help but think, this is exactly what Rocca needs. If we can get peb one out with Darcy, i cannot see him being beaten.

Fevola beat Darcy convincingly a fortnight ago, of particular note was Darcy's inablilty to hold his ground in a one on one marking contest. Fingers crossed Peb has a day out, it will do his confidence a world of good, and hold him in great stead going forward.

Get the Lanolin out, i'm licking my lips with this one!

Fev destroyed him- luckily for Darcy his kicking was shithouse that night. I didn't see the North game but for Hale to kick 4.3 out of 10 goals sounds like he gave Darcy a bath as well. Should be a good way for Rocca to play himself into form.

Sorry Pie eyed, this is one game I'm just too confident about. I don't usually make these sorts of predictions, but Collingwood by an excess of 10 goals.

There are just way too many factors going our way, and the only way we can possibly lose this is if we don't rock up on the day BUT;

• We've just come back from a stirring interstate victory and confidence in ourselves is incredibly high.
• We've had that extra days break to overcome the condition of last Friday.
• Scott Lucas is Harry O's bitch.
• Matty Lloyd is facing a very inform Presti, in his 200th.
• A way too young and inexperienced Bummers defence against a very potent and skillful Collingwood forward line.
• Daniher will have a shocker against either Anthony or Rocca, either way, one of the two will kick a big bag.
• If neither stand up, which is unlikely, Medhurst will have a field day, because he LOVES the big stage, especially ANZAC day (6 goals last year).
• We've got the wood over the Dons.

I'm going to put some hard $$$ on Collingwood to win by a BIG margin. If you think I'm over-confident, show me where I've ever been wrong when I've tipped so highly against us. I'm usually very realistic.

• We are fresh off a minor controversy where Buckley reckons we lose too many that we should win. The players know that and they know that last year they let themselves down
• Travis Cloke is a wildcard. If he finds some form - which realistically is not that far awaym he's not travelling too badly - the complications for Essendons defence multiply ten-fold.
• Our midfield rotations will be too much for Essendon
• Dale Thomas will be earmarked for another role like the one he played last week dragging Drummond out of the game
• Fraser is in far better form than Hille

yes but the problem is these are the games we are expected to win which makes me nervous.daniher will play on j.anthony, fletcher on rocca and ryder will get cloke in my opinion.

I don't think they can... he has to play. If he plays forward I would suggest Ryder plays down back. They can't handle our forward line with him, without him it would be a shambles.

if Lucas is forward then I suggest moving Brown forward to force them to make a change, because I don't think we really have a match up for him otherwise.
