Carlton win a game and suddenly they all deserve a mention.
Care to dispute any of them or are you just gonna come with the same boring shit you always do?

The predictability of it amuses me.Care to dispute any of them or are you just gonna come with the same boring sh*t you always do?

Nah Fogarty!Silly me. Let’s just pick players from the Dogs, Melbourne and Sydney then. Gawn > NN.
Nah Fogarty!
He's nowhere near it.Hasn’t won all 3 games. I retract.
He's nowhere near it.
Pull yourself together.Obviously. He has only won 1 game?
Pull yourself together.
I know it's exciting to win a game but this thread is about the best players in the competition this year.
Yeah, so good teams might get 3-4 and Carlton will probably get 1.Fogarty has been in our second best player so far this season. There are 40 spots in the squad to be shared over 18 teams at 2.22 spots per team on average.
tbf I agreeI feel like I've sufficiently acknowledged that about Gawn.
tbf I agree
I was trying to compliment NN
I always thought he was over rated but the last 24 months I have changed my opinion. He is like a Cyril Rioli where his 12-15 touches are worth 30 of a normal player.
My only knockon him is if he had a tank he could do what Gawn does around the ground if not more
imo Gawn is the number 1 ruck, NN is close (but I can see why people have NN at no 1) then there is Grundy, then there is ******* infinite daylight to the next
Honestly will be a 50/50 again as to who will start.I look forward to the annual ruck discussion.
Either way, we can all be happy that, if they keep up their current form, the discussion won't be around who gets selected but rather who is starting.Honestly will be a 50/50 again as to who will start.
You witnessed Francis’ best game in a long time. Maybe the best of his career.Francis defensively looked way better
agreeOutside of the big 3 (ignoring current season form), you can probably throw in the likes of O'Brien, Witts and Lycett, but they are way behind and not that far ahead of all other primary ruckmen outside of Melbourne, WC and Collingwood.
You could also argue NN's weakness is because he is more effective when used in bursts. Both Gawn and NN though are ruckmen all list managers would trade their left nut for.
No current season stats available
Genetics unfortunately.agree
Imagine how devistating NN what be with a tank to impact contested around the ground like he does centre clearances
Max Gawn is great, keeps up this form and both NN and Gawn will be in the team.
Not sure about that but I haven't watched the Swans until the Tigers game where he was superb.Hickey has been superb for the Swans. IMO, better than NN and MG....so far.

Naitanui is a more influential player in ruck contests, which should by definition be the #1 criteria.Honestly will be a 50/50 again as to who will start.
I was arguing this but nobody listened. So who had Taylor Walker at CHF and Josh Bruce at FF in their pre season sides?
