Great draft, best phantom I've seen on here, especially in terms of who is coming to the crows. Perhaps swap Sumner for Allmond and it would be the perfect swoop for us.

Do you really need a key forward though after drafting Grant, Cordy, Roughead as well as having Hall for two years?
I don't think the Dogs have any real needs which is why I selected Stevens.

Burgan rates him as a 30-50 prospect which is hard to disagree with IMO. As you mentioned, he has a great footy year with TAC Cup performances and Draft Camp results.

I see you used my advice with hill at pick 50 or you probably knew that anyway, if that is the case not taking griffiths (at 18) or gawn at (34) a lot more justifiable. I am very glad melbourne have created more space on the senior list.

I'm surprised at the number of phantoms that have Geelong just taking the best available with their first pick.
A ruckman is Geelong's major need at the moment and this is a very weak draft for ruckman and if he isn't taken by Geelong, he is almost certain to go at the very next pick (Melbourne).

Agreed...and considering the draft concessions for messrs 17 and 18, we don't want to wait to try and get a decent ruckman next year either.
