I know this is a Roughead Tambling thread, but I´m sick of this little decussion about this draft. People Richmond/Hawthorn/Bulldogs supporters going over the same thing over and over, and I´m alway sucked in to reading it.
My Prediction as a true and not baised Richmond supporter. Is that out of the top 5 (baised on how they will perform in the future)in the 2004 draft. After watching them play for 2 years. will turnout to be:

Franklin (amazing)
Deledio at 2 (awsome)
Griffen (super)
Roughead (good)
Tambling (I can only hope)

Anything could happen but!

One's a lanky young KPP that is still deciding between playing FB, CHB or CHF.

The other is a small forward who sometimes rotates into the midfield.

Not even apples and oranges, more like potatoes and watermelons. These players couldn't be more different if they tried, they are on the opposite scales size wise, height wise, position wise, skills wise (specialises in different skills) even their style of game is completely different. Therefore, its impossible to say who's better.

A good game for Roughead might be 10 marks, 15 touches and 8 rebound 50s. A good game for Tambling might be 3 goals, 14 possesions, 2 assists and 5 tackles. Completely different.

A better poll would be Egan and Tambling or Roughead and Bradley.

Is it fair to suggest that Deledio, Griffen and Franklin could be compared to Hodge, Ball and Judd in terms of quality? Instead of intradraft polls, how about we have interdraft polls :P

Rougheads never going to be a star, i see him as a player who will do his job, have the odd freak games where he kicks 5-6-7 goals, solid 200-250 game, tambling on the other hand could swing anyway, not playing afl in 2 years, or be one of the stars of the game

I think Tambling will be a gun and Deledio a SUPERSTAR.

I think the problem with these two is that they have no support and have been thrown in the deep end. Richmond are one of the only clubs in the AFL who don't have any star midfielders who can support and lead these young fellas. Griffin and Cooney are amazing players but remember that they have West showing them the way, leading from the front.

In a way I feel sorry for Deledio and Tambling, although it could make them stronger in the future for this.

19yo KPP, currently being schooled at both ends of the ground, already has a couple of 4 goal-games to his name. Has a great leap and takes a beautiful contested mark.

No certainty, but no reason to think he couldn't be a star.

We got Raines, and other players like Coughlan and Tuck are there, who are good.

I'm making a poll since this doesn't have one. Eve though I have a sneaking suspicion who will win, it will be interesting to see who wins anyway.

You would have to say Roughead at this stage, but I still think Tambling will make it, all he needs is the same confidence that Deledio and Raines have in carrying the ball.
