Fitzy should play in that case and, dare I say it, maybe even Pedo? Have him as the workhorse, Hogan and Fitzy deeper? Assuming Howe, Fitzy and Hogan are our 3 main targets we should be able to get 2 goals each (at least) from all of them. Vince, Watts and Jones can get goals. JKH should be able to get a couple. Bail has been pretty handy as a forward in PS too.
Our midfield will definitely have to get on top and push forward to add to our scoring power, but that's worked pretty well in the NAB games and against a depleted Saints midfield shouldn't be too much to ask.

Yeah i think Pedo as well is necessary we looked a tall short against the cats at least and Pedo did a good job in Nab 1, he does cop alot but when he puts his head over it and doesnt flinch hes an ok player

Clark's shaping up to be one of our worst trades, sadly. Just looking at money vs output.

We would have currently payed him something like 50,000 Per completed game, thats awesome coin, but yeah sadly considering we cant pay the full salary cap it would have been handy in chasing midfielders

It's the nature of the beast. Sliding doors Clark could of ended up at freo injury free and a premiership full forward. Instead he ended up injury prone at Melbourne fc in 2 of the worst years in the clubs history. But it is what it is and hopefully now he can become part of the resurrection.

Never even though about that, how scary would Clark have been at FF for Freo

Talk about keeping a lid on it. Jesus...

He and Dawes.
Reckon Watts might end up at CHF after all?

The clubs release of information re. Clark has been disappointing for those of us who pay any attention. He hasn't been ready for rd. 1 at any point, clearly, especially after the hamstring injury. The way Misson shuffles and grins sheepishly whenever Burgan asks the question is annoying, stop getting people hopeful with when you're hopeful (never been right once) and just try being transparent.

He stays fit and they probably win the flag.
The injury he constantly has is from hitting his head against the wall In knowing he could be at Fremantle surely. No..I only jest but yeah, he would suit them right now injury free.

But things change quickly in footy.

If he leaves us at the end of 2015 and goes to Freo it would be an immense disappointment.

Well at the end of 2011 Freo weren't in much better shape than Melbourne (ok they didn't have a 186 point loss) but Melbourne did beat freo by 89 points in round 13. Then by round 14 Melbourne were in the 8 with 6 wins 6 losses and a draw(and a bye in there as well). Boy that feels like a long time ago. So clark coming to us over Freo is no suprised. Ok the wheels came off at the end of the season but Melbourne was still much more desirable than Brisbane. 'The Great Deceiver' was going to give this club a tough edge, and Melbourne were certainly going to contend for the top 8 in 2012.

The player brisbane took doesnt even play for them anymore
It's not about winning or losing the trade, pick 12 isn't the problem as much as the money.

In Freo's defence though they had a 25-man injury list for a lot of 2011 which explains most of their rubbishness.
