Curtin to have 20 touches, 6 intercept marks in a debut where he frees up Sicily to roam around the ground and make the Bombers look silly at will. Sicily ends up with 40 touches and 2 goals and an ocean of Druggers tears.

Surely we can't play as garbage against them as we did this season?

All that talk of our decent finish to the season will be put to the test. Will we dish up the same slops we have early in each of the last few seasons, despite finishing the seasons prior reasonably well, or will we actually hit the ground running?

Pick 4*, Hustwaite, Mackenzie, Butler, Chol, Gunston, Ginnivan, Jaith, DBG, Mitchell, Frost should all be pushing claims to play round 1, only Hustwaite played in the final round last year, that is lot of potenial changes already without preseason surprises.

O'Sullivan, Bennetts, Ramma, MacDonald also there abouts with a good preason

No disrespect to Frosty but he needs to play as few games as possible next year for the team to develop and improve.

No excuses for a slow start this year.

Two years under Sam to learn his game style, a very healthy list (touch wood) and a mediocre opposition first game up.

We need to put average teams like Essendon to the sword, if we can't do that then we haven't progressed as a team TBH.

A fwd line of:

Breust Lewis Gunston
Wiz Chol Ginnivan/ Moore

Should get this done.
