Carlton has just won the preseason premiership and both clubs are looking forward to round 1 with hope and excitement. Both clubs have about 25,000 members 2 weeks before the season starts. Old arch enemies with young lists. 5:10pm start on Sunday at the G. Could be about 75,000-80,000 crowd. Hopefully it's a nice day and the Tiges belt the Blues. Hopefully not too many people take a long Easter holiday and miss the game. 5:10 is a good time for people to visit the family then head to the G in time for the bounce. Seeya there

Yep, I'll be there. Should be a massive crowd, thats for sure.

72,000 is my prediction but you never know.

Go Tigers!

twilight matches are good but you wont get the nuff nuffs who want their 60 minutes/csi junk

65k max which will probably be the biggest twilight crowd all year

I didn't include those people in my prediction. If you choose csi or 60 minutes over round 1 carlton v rich, then you wouldn't bother going to any games for the whole year either

you would expect more, but the closet supporters will probably let us down ;)

very few home and away crowds over 70k, never know I spose, you'd be stiff not to have a nice fine day given how bloody rare it rains, mix that with carltons precocious form and it adds up to an intruiging ball game!

the only reason why there haven't been many crowds over 70,000 the last 3 or 4 years is because the G was under construction and could only hold 70,000 until last season

thank **** the dome games are a thing of the past

last years game was shocking but the year before that when we were up by 10 goals at half time was a ripper

bring it on
