Based on what? For the last month we've been very competitive, and maybe should've won three or four more games (Brisbane, Kangas, Adelaide and Collingwood come to mind).

thats true that carlton has been very competitive lately, but you arent being realisitic to say that you should have won three or four more matches. Carlton would be more then happy the way they are going.

And why not?

Did you see those matches? If you're leading for the majority of the game, then you should hold out for a win at least. There were four leading positions and the game up for grabs, we either panicked or ran out of legs. Either way, when we learn how to hold on to leads like that then we may be finals material.

A four quarter effort, not three. That will come in time - we've got the list (barring a few positions) to win a little bit more, now it's confidence + mental strength.
