I know, I'm saying that it didn't come across that way when he said it. He didn't "blame" anything, he was speculating without attributing any causal relationship. I think his support of shorter games was conditional on the condensed preseason & longer season trends

I generally like what he brings, especially to our spirit. But against a giant Freo team* it will be interesting to see how we go.
