Who do you bring in, will make no difference wether Lloyd is in or not his replacement will be equally useless
Shift Blakey to the wing and I’d keep CC in for starters

My point was that Cleary should not be dropped & Sheldrick shouldn’t be dumped back to sub.Have you seen the reserves play the cupboard is bare
There are some weird mob mentality melts in here this evening.
Real odd.
I guess it's a coping mechanism.
Some of us want to win and think playing Cleary, Mitchell, Buller etc helps with that more than playing some pretty lucky older guys.Dont think its coping these changes reflect that the club thinks it can still make finals where many think we should be prioritizing for the future.

Wicks replaces Roberts.
It should have been Bice however Roberts has COVID/RSV .
Hanily comes in for CC. Rewarding form in the Ressies.
Cunningham for Mitchell. No brainer.
Francis for Hamling . No brainer. Francis is better at both ends.
Mills for Pete L . Injury based. Probably pushes Adams to the Sub spot.
Lloyd is absolutely on thin ice
As soon as Errol is back I think he's in trouble.
Unfortunately we don't have anyone to replace Lloyd and his Tog and 2 way running.
Personally I think too many "fans" have drunk the coolaid and watched too much media over analysing everything.Dont think its coping these changes reflect that the club thinks it can still make finals where many think we should be prioritizing for the future.
Have you thought that instead of watching the games and observing Cleary's impact, in an area we've lacked before, that you might just be coping?I’ll die on the hill of Cleary being shafted unfairly.

I'd say they play similar roles its just Sheldrick has a better talent of getting the pill.It goes both ways it seems, because I don't really get the point you were trying to make, either LOL.
You compared Rowy & Sheldrick's numbers, but they play different roles, so their numbers aren't really comparable.
You then compared Sheldrick's numbers from the last 3 games to Rowy's from the last 80 games, as though they're comparable at all. In Sheldrick's last 3 games he's been a mildly decent butcher. In Rowy's last 80 games he's been one of our very best players across that span, including finishing on the podium in the B&F twice, including once in a GF year, breaking the club's all-time season tackles record twice, and being a top 10 centre clearance player in the comp last year en route to a Best Clubman award.
So not having a go at you at all, I guess I'm just not sure what you're getting at considering the discussion started with whether Sheldrick should be sub or not.
I’d prefer not to go into self-analysis.Have you thought that instead of watching the games and observing Cleary's impact, in an area we've lacked before, that you might just be coping?
I don't watch footy media. I want to win.Personally I think too many "fans" have drunk the coolaid and watched too much media over analysing everything.
The aim is too win as many games as possible.
By any means.
I also don't recall many people coming out and saying it was a terrible idea when it was done, either. Also I don't get the idea that a < 1 day review is somehow over the top or that much at all.
There is a different between wishing for something and what will happen in realityWe have nothing to lose build for next season. Richmond should win anyway.
Least Dattoli should be in next week that’s a positive
He must have caught it from the supporters at the SCG who were all ill & had to leave at 3/4 time.Roberts is ill
Yep!Ladhams was not dropped. He is injured

I would've kept Clearly ahead of Corey, but it's not much skin off our nose omitting him because his role hasn't really been effective enough in winning nor losing - so in terms of managing a young player who's not even playing his natural position, it doesn't bother me. It's a bit of a stale role in this team at the moment. I'd rather he plies his midfield craft in the vfl as an investment for next year. The Cleary one I don't get at all, as I think he's been a valuable contributor and an important piece in our best footy this year.
Re the rest, I do wonder how much of it is the coaches basically saying it is up to the senior players to get themselves out of this hole, and that rather than expecting the kids to do it, and it getting ugly, and thus hurting the kids' confidence, let the senior players knuckle down and figure this out for themselves.

Personally.
I like the changes.
Hanily as a starter vs CC as a sub ( last game)
That's not worth fighting on a hill for.
Ladhams: I'd say something happened at training today, or he's pulled up sore and they didn't want to risk it.Why the hell are we persisting with Lloyd?
Why weren't we told about Ladhams in the injury report?
Why did he pick Francis? We know he's not good enough, why not give Buller a go?
I worry that Cox, like Horse, has marked his favourites, and will stick with them no matter what. We could be stuffed.
