Defenders kept the highest percentage team in the comp to 44 points. Big claps to impy, weddle, battle barrass.

Unfortunate for huss, we might need to find a role that suits him better for the big league.

Impey absolute mega game! Can’t believe people were whinging about him in the game day thread. He kept us in the game.

Chol massive in the second half particularly that late spoil. Ooohh mamma!

Loved seeing Wiz around the ball he just brought a level of pressure that we didn’t have in the first half. Sven though his stats look fairly quiet, I thought he was great.

Meek wrestled his way back into the game and was huge in that second half.

Huge effort by our twin towers in the backline as well, worth their weight in gold when they’re able to kill the ball time and time again. Adelaide should have put the game out of reach a number of times and those boys were huge in making it hard to score.

Well deserved break ahead. Go Hawks.

Greatest win of the season. Specially to hold the so called most potent forward line goaless in the third quarter and only 1 goal for the second half and that too without Scrimshaw.
So happy for the boys.
Now rest and come back after the bye where we will have some of the missing players back.
Butler surely belong here for his tackles and CJ is definitely the best sub.

Gunston and Impey dragged us over the line, they just said "nope, we arent losing, not today"

We have issues in the middle. Newcombe was held but found his way into the game up forward. We really missed Worpel tonight. We really missed Sicily.

Thought CJ gave us something when he came on. i think Butler belongs at this level (though he should have kicked the goal). Morrison and Chol were solid. Barrass was good under constant siege. CMac was much better than he has been of late, kicked a crucial goal

I have no ****ing idea about the rules of this game. Dont know the final free kick count but we couldnt buy one in the first half. But it was toyotathon for the camry crows.

The crows are a formidable team, good all over the ground and in Rachele and Rankine have a pair of bonafide match winners. It was sheer will of our older guys that got us over the line

EDIT - I forgot to mention Moore and Hardwick. Along with Gunston and Impey it really was the older guys who won this one
