A very uneven performance by the team which could have gone against them if the Bullies had made less errors. We can't afford such lapses against in-form teams like the Lions. We'd just get thrashed. However, it's good to get the four points.

Best part is those Port friends of mine telling me we played a patchy game, followed by me telling them we can play a bogey side and actually win.

Great to see the early season intensity was there again. It was there when the Bullies came back too, but we just weren't converting in our forward line. Can't expect to dominate for 4 quarters, as that is unrealistic. I thought we good contributions from most of our players. Particularly pleasing was Goodwin's return to form (including his kicking!) ... & to think McLeod was basically only had a cameo perormance (think he is saving himself for the showdown & finals!)
