than 4 games.

of the club, that losing is of more benefit.

The difference is, our players want to win, they will get their props
off the footy community for that, other fans can bag us - as fans,
but we aint the ones out on the field having a crack, we are only
the ones who want eventual success and are sick of years of

I just don't get why someone would want to lose a game like this one, I really don't. That was just gutwrenching to endure. And again, we REALLY deserved to win it.

I understand that some of us aren’t excited about wins at the moment and I know that by losing (now) we are really winning (future). I am just concerned about us actually outwardly showing happiness for a loss. Someone posted a thread a short time ago being critical of a fellow Melbourne fan who was actually outwardly barracking for the opposition team at the game. This sort of behavior and some of the things that have been written in this thread will do us no favors in terms of being respected by other fans.

To be fair Deledio- I've been around this forum a decent while now, and lurked before that - and I know that the vast majority of us are NOT pro-tanking. Honestly, this is true.

Some of us are more tolerant of it than others though - I for one am completely intolerant of it, of course, but again, I know there are plenty of Demons fans around here who agree with me.

Especially guys like Dez, and many others.

Dez, I've had a real argument with you on and off lately, it's fair to say, but respect to you all the same.

In the end, I think we both agree about how important winning is, and that you'd never want to give it up just for priority picks.

Do you think the club gives two cents what happens on an online forum. If you don't want to fuel the morons how about not replying, or doing what most of us do which is not even go to bay 13.

Have faith that the players gave 110% today, because if you watched the game they did. Also notice that we were winning the game with the match ups we had, despite how stupid they looked, because we weren't wining in the first quarter (okay 2.0 to 1.5 is winning but anyway you get the point). Dean Bailey's integrity shouldn't be questioned.

Let's just enjoy what is a good result in a horrible situation.
