He has to get the ball first.Suban would make a good tagger I reckon, he has the tank and he has the mongrel. Anything to stop him going to ground without releasing the ball.

Is there a chance we are going small and fast against the taller cats (hence crozier) then have Tabs cherry ripe for WC who currently have a weakened small backline ?
Thing is, Tabs has the pace and endurance of any small. He would provide a handy target across the half forward line.
Happy to see both Suban and De Boer in the 22. Means there's plenty of room for future improvement in the team.

Playing Tabs stops them being able to throw Taylor forward. We don't have the height in the backline to deal with the extra tall forward. Is there a chance we are going small and fast against the taller cats (hence crozier) then have Tabs cherry ripe for WC who currently have a weakened small backline ?

Just noticed we've only named 5 genuine forwards with 3 on our emergency list...me thinks a late change.
Both Pearce and Barlow have been named on the HF line...
If it is wet, would Duffy be better value than Croz?Sheridan is a loss. He just started to look like he belongs. He had his best game so far.
Muzungu will be handy. The loss of Motlop and Bartel is huge for them.
I know Suban had a shocker but the wet weather and the fact geelong don't have the same pace as port will play into his hands. I think this game will suit him.
Crozier and Tabs very unlucky but one may still play.
Yeah, sorry, was counting the resting ruckman as a forward. The same amount we had last week except Mayne is under an injury cloud now. I thought we were over the days of relying on Pav to kick a winning score, if Crozier and Taberner are deemed match fit then they should be in the team.
FWIW by my count we only have four genuine forwards (Pav, Mayne, Ballas and Sonny), 5 if you want to include Fyfe.

So, has the plane taken off ?
Yes it has, and Duffy wasn't on the kite according to journos at the airport snack bar.
