I thought Hill has been one of our better players. Having a solid crack at least. Yeo, Shuey and Jetta need to pull their fingers out. Yeo 3 disposals in a half of footy, Jetta 4. That deserves WAFL time.

Another player we could have done with is Hutchings to swing onto Mitchell in the first quarter. Mitchell wasn't as noticeable for me in the second but he can win a lot of the ball without being noticeable.

Did a number on Rich? Every time the ball hit the ground Rich got around him easily (from memory).

Did a number perhaps the wrong phrase but for a true KPD he chased like hell and made Rich's time forward a nightmare. An unbelievably struck kick running away from the goal can't be helped sometimes.

As much as I hate the old pricks in my block at Subi who never bothered keeping up with the tactical changes of the AFL, I'm going to back them in today - Simmo, tell the boys to man up.

Seriously, zone isn't working, the link up play has improved and we've settled in the last few minutes and begun taking on contest, but there's simply nobody down field to kick to or lead at it because they're all too high up the ground in the structure. Just stick someone on the hip of Gibson (would be Cripps for me) at the very least.

What about Jack or is he needed around the ground?
