Put up a good fight, just not good enough

That was a fair effort from our boys. Playing a top 4 team on their home deck, with a fair share of injuries and I wasn’t a fan of the umpiring either.

However, we couldn’t take our chances after a stellar start. Only have ourselves to blame, and that’s the moral of this season. No matter how many things didn’t go our way, it was still our own fault that we didn’t capitalise when necessary.

That being said, a lot of positive signs for the future, and the kids are gonna be alright. There should be every expectation that we have a big, big pre-season, we are a capable side, we must have the hunger for 2022.
