I'm getting the sense that you might not be one to trust that experts know what they're talking about so there's zero chance of my convincing you otherwise as a humble BF poster.
cops: abusive
politicians: short-sighted populist charisma-ant holes
doctors: just better at memorising stuff with stricter parents
teachers: ATAR of 12 more interested in self-pity
epididimologists: attention seekers manipulating pointless stats
AFL coaches: generally stubborn, deer-in-headlight shysters

I dunno bro maybe it's like, not all people in authority deserve to be there.

Ah, will the return of SA be like a brief comet across the night sky, or one of those slow moving lava eruptions from a Hawaiian volcano.
My money is on the former

Gee whiz.

I can see you have a lot of feelings, maybe worth starting your own thread to work them out? It just feels like you manage to knock every thread you're in off course within a couple of posts.

In an effort to get back on track, I reckon they'll be conservative and bring Darcy and Mundy in for Meek and Tucker.

It's not SA - he was an annoying prat but at least he understood capitalisation.

This one doesn't.

My advice: Don't feed trolls and right-fighters. They need to win more than you.

You honestly believe you know better than the medical staff who are trained in this specialist field, have worked with him for years, and assessed him at the time?

FFS some people think a hell of a lot of themselves, and very little of others.

Get of your high horse, where did i say that i know better.

For the sake of the discussion, not that i generally like to interact with clowns like yourself that get triggered so easily.

  • Body language from the bench showed a clear reluctance to bring him back on.
  • The game was basically done so there was no need to risk him especially with a history of lower leg issues.
  • He sat out the best part of the final 15 mins seemingly as a precaution, which is odd if he was deemed fit to play without additional risk.
  • His scans have reportedly shown some level of syndesmosis.

All of the above point to why he should not have come back on, especially when you consider how important he is to the team.

I just find this whole 'they have a degree so they're infallible' thing to be a joke. the last two years should give everyone a healthy apprehension for the health industry - daily conflicting 'expert advice' where every state and every country had a different approach.

people have their own biases and agendas. doctors are no different. people spend their whole lives developing a script or learning to direct. most movies are shithouse.

this forum would not exist if you werent allowed to criticise things youre not a professional in.

Except no one ever said having a degree makes you infallible, that's not a thing.

Mods deal with this troll please!

he kinda did? he said you cant question them if youre not in their remit.

The point is they are professionals and you don't actually know what the circumstances were. Question authority all you like you just have to do a better job than saying authority and being educated is meaningless, it's lazy. Players play with niggles and sus shoulders, backs, etc. and it very well could have appeared from all medical evidence that Pearce was fit enough to go out again. trusting experts is all you can do until you have evidence to suggest otherwise.

OMG! Is this what happens when we win a Derby by 55 points?
Sheet!!
Think I'd rather talk about the potential in's.
Switta looks doubtful, as is restricted at training.
Problem for this boy, he just can't stretch a lot of games together, bit like Darcy, lately!

Hold up, what’s all this about Switta?

Switta must have picked up the injury at home last night, dancing with joy at how brief and honest our injury reports have become

Haha - of course there was no way the Footy gods would allow us to have such a healthy-looking list, chance of mystery injury increases %1000.

Seems to be on the minor side if he's still doing the change of direction stuff.

I actually reckon it might just end up being Darcy for Meek and Mundy for Tucker, Banfield to remain sub.

Anyone think otherwise?
