Badly need Roughead back into the ruck so that Boyd can play more minutes at full forward and Cloke back in so that he can play CHF.
Just can't believe how inaccurate we were in the first half; half of those misses weren't even difficult shots while Brisbane couldn't miss.

It was probably a bit ambitious of the boys to try to commemorate Bob's 300th game by kicking 300 behinds. Although it would have been epic and one for the record books if they had pulled it off it is probably just as well that they abandoned that idea at halftime and went back to just playing football.

Some low quality melts in Te game day thread. Funniest part of the day.

Well done Dogs. Out of jail to 4 and 1.

Macrae has to be leading the B and F.

Good guts by Dunkley and Boyd playing through knocks. Smith brilliant courage as well. Well done to Dunkley for some good finishing.

McLean doing well.

Biggs lucky to be there.

This is getting worrying. Fortunately we keep doing enough to get wins on the board. If we play like we have the past three weeks against GWS we'll get beaten by 100. No way they won't take advantage of a 5 goal head start.

Lots of players out of form. Dahlhaus and Macrae lead the way again and we're probably our two best. Thought Adams was fantastic when he was swung back, huge in that last quarter. JJ's run was needed and Dunkley of all people was the one who cured our yips in front of goal.

Will be interesting if we ring in the changes this week.

I don't think the gap between us and Sydney is that far apart right now. We're both playing poorly but we're playing well enough in patches to get us over the line and they're not. It isn't too far of a stretch so suggest we could be 0-5. I'm very happy with where we are at right now.

What a debacle though; hopefully kids like Williams and Webb play well today because we kinda need them to do well since Moyd is in such poor form.

I'm just glad that the 2016 team came out after halftime. There is a hell of a lot to do before next week. I don't know if I'll have wifi for next week's match since I'm leaving for Melbourne on Saturday or Sunday. Tonight might have been my last time posting in the Game Day thread.

Biggs shouldn't of been brought back after one good VFL match. Should of spent another week down there. Smith also needs to dropped until he provides anything else besides tackling. Smith honestly might be the worst kick of footy in the league. Next Friday night is shaping up to be a very ugly one for the dogs.

Zaine Cordy is the biggest positive out of that game for me. He was absolutely superb. Best game for the club easily.

Otherwise just relieved that we got the job done after a pretty average performance.

Can't say anything about our goalkicking that hasn't been said or will be said. Just diabolical.

We also have so many players down at the moment.

Easton, Libba, Bont (not fit), Suckling (Jekyll and Hyde), Stringer (see Suckling), Biggs - I'm his biggest fan and wanted him back but he is way off at the moment.

Also well done to Fletch Roberts, really like him, just does the job each week, doesn't always get credit. Humble hero.

But yeah, geez, we'd wanna pull our fingers out next week when we play that putrid mob.

We've been asleep at the wheel for 4 & 3/4 games. The switch flicked in the last qtr. The footy public will get a Friday night footy game worth watching and deserving of the time slot next week.
Just a little bit of pre-match softening up thanks Swans.

Cordy, Adams, Macrae, Dahlhaus and Bob were all fantastic I thought, and gee the umpire sooking on the main board is getting insane... every single win we have is apparently due to the umps

Blaming the umpires is the crutch of someone that doesn't really understand football

Obviously not great, but have to reiterate results over performance this stage of the year. Good teams find a way to win and fight that adversity. Our records in games that go to the very last quarter is a real positive.

Thought the back 6 swung the game in our favor. Cordy, Adams and Sid all very good second halves.

Engine room... Dahlhaus and Macrae holding the fort at the minute.

Biggs lucky to keep his spot next week, but can't see him yo-yo'ing back down again.

We aren't quite there yet, but a bit like my Cavs I have no doubt we will be thereabouts when it really matters.
