Yeah so apparently Courtnay Dempsey is out for another 8 weeks now. Got 369k to spend, do you guys think it would be best to trade in another rookie, trade in another mid priced player or try and get togethr the cash to upgrade him?

thinking, its time for symes to get the boot,

with cornes out, i wanna add some strength 2 backline,

i have many choices...symes out for:
Kennelly
Gilbee
P.Burgoyne
S.Fisher

Then next week i have plans to drop bird or houli for one of the 4 yound midfielders who have played this week, then up grade my 7th backman(pfieffer) to another of the above 4.

then my 7th bakman will be mattner, will look good ay?

So wat do you think, symes out? and 4 who?

Just watch out as Laidley can be a real bugger when it comes to giving rookies a consistent run in the side. I doubt i will pick another North rookie any time soon unless the bloke looks like God.

I have Bradshaw and S.Thompson. Now if S.Thompson gets a few games reaches say $300K and Bradshaw reaches say $550K. I'm thinking of a double trade.

Bradshaw ---> Downgrade to Milburn (not really a downgrade)
S.Thompson --> Upgrade to Gilbee

Although I'm pretty happy with Bradshaw, I don't think Bradshaw is worth $550K over the year.

The question is really is Bradshaw a keeper?

doesnt matter wat his worth! atm he is killing it!!, if you start seeing a fall in his game or his scores, you make the trade 2 milburn, milburn will not pass bradshaws price any time soon. and wat happens if you make the sideways trade and milburn fall a part, or gets injured(touch wood coz i hav him!) and bradshaw maintains his form....u will be cursing lets put it tht way!

dont make the trade untill bradshaw starts his bad run!, coz milburn will always be sitting there! im sure you have more players in your team that need the flick or you have other cash cows and mids ready for eviction and guns ready for inclusion!

i definatly do....wish i was in ur shoes wif bradshaw, wuld be an easy choice!

Although I'm pretty happy with Bradshaw, I don't think Bradshaw is worth $550K over the year.

Perhaps not, but I look at it a different way. I got him because I thought he would make a good 6th or 7th defender. Because he was never bought with the intention of upgrading, I still consider him the 280k player I paid for him. His value rise is a nice bonus should he get injured or lose form, but I'm not going to trade him just because he's worth a lot.

I'm very happy to hold on to a 280k player who is scoring 100+ a week.

Do you think trading Mattner for Gilbee is a good one has Mattner has in my opinion almost reached his peak and Gilbee is bottoming out? Or do you have the view that is is too sideways- even though they started the season about 150k apart

I have the view that Mattner is playing well and Gilbee is not.

Mattner is a keeper IMO. Once Nick Malceski gets back it might hurt his scores but if thats the case he will be a nice price to trade out.

Pavlich, J. Brown, Franklin, Riewoldt, O'Keefe/Chapman, Deledio, Porplyzia (Tippett and Gamble)

Any thoughts/disagreements....

I was thinking of doing Mattner to McCleod. Is this a good idea??

Mattner will drop this week unless he scores 130 odd so he has prob peaked. McLeod has been great but i saw on the news that he didnt train yesterday?

Mattner and Kennelly in my team and I've been very happy with them..for their price...Kennelly gets injured alot though...

I reckon Mattner is a keeper for now and see what happens when Malceski comes back...

Option 4: OUT: Tippett, Simmonds: IN: Cheap Forward, Jolly

I would never get rid of Brown, I think its too early to get rid of Bird and Tippett so I would go with option 2.

I need some advice
I still haven't traded Hill yet he is on my starting team, i need to trade him he is letting me down every week. What are some good players around his price or lower, people said Valenti would be good but it doesn't look like he was selected. How good is Darcy Daniher? do you think he could score more than Hill.
Also i saw Josh Kennedy for West Coast last week i can get him and he looks pretty good at the moment might get a big score against his old club.
