Think a few changes are needed:

Suban out for Gu
A Pearce out for McPharlin
Sheridan out for Grey (need someone for Ducking Lindsay and a back up).
Possibly Blakely in too if Barlow is sore or Weller for some run for Duff.

Probably only the first two will occur though.

How you leave out a strong body and tackler like Deboer out against the Bulldogs still baffles me. Get Sutcliffe out, he's been useless all year and let Deboer play four quarters like he should be not come in as a substitute. Give Suban the substitute vest at the start and bring in McPharlin.

How about Duffy for either Ballantyne or Walters? Always seems like one of those players that steps up when they get the chance at higher level.

Ballantyne honestly needs to be sent to the WAFL and get hungry again.

Barlow is not in great form but those wanting him dropped citing his lingering tackle and misskick out of defence are kidding themselves. I'd rather point the finger at a few today who chased half-assed and didn't even try to lay a tackle. As for the clanger kick, well he was not Robinson Crusoe out there today, even our better players Fyfe, Johnno, Neale had several of those.

Came on here for a little bo peep expecting to see a significant amount of "NO CHANGE"

Suprised to see the likes of Walters, Barlow, Balla and a few others mentioned in the outs!

All three of them usually have field days against us so id be happy if all three got dropped! :p

You need to ignore those posts. None of those players will be getting dropped.

Even I wouldn't go with that selection .
Ins Mcpharlin and Mzungu
Outs Alex Pearce and Sheridan .
Duffield to start and Mzungu as the Sub. Crozier as the emergency .

Yes it was a little bit harsh, that poster is unusually aggrieved by Taberner for whatever reason. I like your changes except I'd hope Mzungu starts and Suban is the sub.

I'm well aware of that! Have watched a lot of you guys this year and while those three haven't had their usual impact they are still playing their roles quite well.

I thought Walters and balla had quite a good game defensively today. While Barlow was still solid in the clinches.

I think Ross will know that Tommy hasn't played at senior level since round one and will give him the grace to shake off a bit of rust. Ballas's first game back was ordinary but he's been hitting the scoreboard again lately and is still contributing well off the ball. That last goal of Pav's where Ballas ran twenty metres and jumped to make the contest against two much bigger dogs players, won the ball and dished off for Pav's sealer was something to behold.

Against North's talls, it'll be tempting to go:
Out: Duffield
In: McPharlin

Ballas is still building after his 2 weeks off. Walters is warming up but needs a couple of dominant performances. Barlow is a bit below his normal par (was v.good against Geelong and Melbourne).

I'd like to see more eye candy - maybe bring Duffield, Muzungu and Lachie Weller in to the mix :)
We've given you your own thread for this sought of smut.
Us blokes have deigned to permit you a thread of your own whereupon you giddy dames may exhaust your foolish, salacious nattering nonsense and let us menfolk go about our bidnez of sewious footeh.

Fyfe only had three ineffective possessions out of 30. I don't think any were clanger kicks (he had five clangers, but they were all frees against).

I seriously still believe he is a valuable player and we need his experience in defense. He's an integral member of the 22 and I feel Lyon rested him this week because he is deemed as more important for next week - he also needed to make room for Sheridan and Pearce to given some opportunity. Lyon will be giving most of his 30 yr o plus players a bit of a rest this year. He is not the weakest link! it also stuffed up my dream team points, but happy to say I am still on top of the ladder.

Duffield? He's expendable, though, and if you're expendable, you're part of the coterie that is vulnerable to considerations made for team balance at selection committee.

Agree that Barlow, Ballas and Walters are in a bit of a form slump but as others have said the jump from WAFL to AFL is massive. Weller, Blakely etc are probably no chance to even match the output of the guys already in and at least with those experienced guys there is massive proven upside.

Happy to back Sheridan in after just one game but surely its time for Suban to get the cut with Mzungu an easy call up. Would go:
IN: Mzungu and McPharlin
OUT: Suban and Pearce

that's your opinion but am sure it's not Lyon's opinion
How can you be sure when the guy was made a sub today? He didn't start and was subbed out. He was in the team and made the sub so that Sheridan could play. He's vulnerable right now.

Lyon demoted him to sub. This makes him on the fringe of the 22.
