Good start by Swans - but cheating Victorian umpires will ensure Lenny hayes has a nice reward. Free against Grundy in the Riewoldt incident was clear fraud. The umpire is a cheat, accepted - but the soft, pathetic way Riewoldt hit the deck, as usual, was a disgrace. Malceski had no prior and was smashed high twice - result: St Kilda get a free in front. How many times do we tackle these huys with prior and it's waved on.

Winner: the VFL. Why bother with interstate teams, even Geelong when you could just have 6 Melbourne teams playing each other 5 times a year.

But this is an example (so far) of what a dumb team we can be, collectively ... how often do we kick a goal when we really need it (as LRT delivered) and then concede one basically from the bounce??? It has been happening for years, the same stupidity ... surely we have a strong enough midfield brigade to just bottle up the ball at the centre after we've goaled ... I dunno ... this is just very frustrating right now.
