Well Houli out makes me feel even better about doing Houli --> Bartel

Only decision now is who to trade out between Gamble and Tippet. Tippet has a lower break even so i think i will get rif od Gamble although i would have liked to have kept him for a bit longer.

Why not keep them 1 more week? (I assume you are going to Valenti?)

Well i plan on getting Daniher this week before he rises (not that he will go up much) and then Valenti the next week. So both Tippet and Gamble will be gone in the next two weeks and i just need to keep the one i think will rise the most this week which i think is Tippet. They are really my only good cash cows with some money behind them because my next best is kruezer and ebert and i need the cash this week.

Houli for Cotchin

and a lazy 600k in the bank. Not bad

I got so many possible trades this week...

PLAN 1
Nath Thompson --> Valenti
Bird --> Chappy.
Meaning Browne isn't in my starting 22, but Gamble is.

PLAN 2.
Bird --> Wellingham
Thompson --> Chappy
Can't afford Chappy if I go from Cotchin. Means that Browne is still on my starting side, but my worst forward will now be Rioli.

PLAN 3.
Bird --> Cotchin/Wellingham
Thompson --> Valenti
Get heaps of dough to spend next week, but Gamble and Browne both playing.

So, it comes down to this have either Gamble or Browne or both play. For one week. But, in the end my team will end up roughly the same. Far out.

What is the best option:
Having Jack/Myers playing and upgrading Houli to a gun, eg. Murphy, Dal, Chappy and then upgrading McKinley in a week or two to Riewoldt/Chappy.
OR
Upgrade Jack & Houli to above midfielders and not upgrading McKinley.

In short- whos going to score more: Jack/Myers, Dal & Chappy OR Dal Chappy McKinley

I have a few players that make sense to trade this week, don't know what to do just yet:
- Barlow: Dropped, keeping him means getting a zero in the backline
- Nathan Brown: High break even
- Houli: Dropped and maxed out, if i keep him one of Wonnamirri/Wellingham will be on the field this week
- Rioli: high break even but other areas look like they need it more

So as I see it, I think trading Barlow to Myers makes sense and will be one of my trades.... that would give me around $150K to spend.
So the options would then be:
- Brown to Newman/Goddard.
- Houli to a mid under $530Kish (Sewell, Murphy or Power)
- Rioli to Chapman

If I downgrade Rioli to Valenti i'd have $450K next week to upgrade Brown and Houli... McLeod will be $460Kish next week and that would leave me $560K-$610000 to spend on a midfielder for Houli. So if I take a gamble I may get lucky be able to grab McLeod and Harvey/Bartel next week, would mean I play Brown, Wonnamirri/Wellingham and Tippet/Gamble on the field this week... but I do have a relativley easy league game.

Anyone got any ideas?

Tend to agree with that, but i'd still be wary of the injury cloud that Black is/was under even though he proved he is still a very good player against us last week.
I'd also rate Cooney slightly better then Cross.

I think our doctors were being very very cautious when they diagnosed him with OP...I think the HoF game may have influenced their decisions. He might have had a bit of pain, but nothing near as serious as what was reported.

Looking at adding Myers to the backs...should i downgrade Gilbee or Brett Jones. Both have been as consistently average as each other. Gilbee is worth more $ and has a high BE this week, so i'm thinking of showing him the door.

Keep faith in Gilbee. He's a proven elite SuperCoach scorer and I believe he'll eventually find some form.

Hawks have a few high scoring games coming up and I already have Hayes from the Saints so was worried about having NDS also in games when the Saints do their thing and fail to show up.

Now that I have hit the confirm button should I be regretting not getting NDS or Goodwin??
