Do you want Marshall or not?If you cant understand the difference between Kelly and this i cant help you.
With all due respect I hope for your sake you were drinking before you posted it.
Two first rounders plus SDK.I posted this on the Saints list management thread, couldn’t be bothered re-writing it, here tis…
Geelong got picks 14, 24 and 37 plus a future first for Tim Kelly when they traded him to West Coast in 2019.
Our starting point needs to be high and hard, and if they don’t like it, too bad! ! I’d be demanding nothing less.
West Coast thought they were in the premiership window in 2019, and they’d identified Kelly as key to that success, so they were happy to dig deep to appease Geelong.
Based on that trade, I’d ask for SDK (or Humpty or Dempsey), their first round this year (pick 18) and a future first.
They’re wanting a proven ruck at the peak of his game, a bloke with several years left in him, a guy who has regularly featured in the top 5 or 6 of our B&F’s, with 2 years to run on his contract, (much of which has been prepaid), who they’ve identified as the missing link to their flag aspirations, ffs, if they want him, it’ll be costly.
I’m sure that’s what we’re thinking, hence Ross’s pre-warning a few weeks ago on TV - basically pony up or shut up!
We need to know what we’re doing and what we’re working with ASAP, so I’d put our demands to them formally on Monday, give them a very short window to respond, and if they can’t meet our demands then move on.
It’s us who are in the power position here, not Geelong FFS. Can you imagine what they’d be asking for if the situation was reversed?
The message needs to be loud and clear, we want him to stay, if you want him, dig deep boys, dig deep!!

Cos the pick is all he's worth, it's all Geelong have, you've signalled your intent to hardly play him and he wants to go. It's about right.
I'm all up for a bit of full-on haggling but trust me this one ain't it. We all know he's going, we all know why, and we all know for how much.
And I'm pretty sure that deep down you'll be disappointed if Geelong end up saying, "If you want to keep him that desperately that you want more than we can give, fine. Keep him."
And when he retires in 2028 you'll be wondering what may have been with another first round pick.
But yeah, let's go through the motions if we wish. Just wasting time.
Missed out on Jsos & WilkieRapidly approaching the “if the Dogs offer less than Ed Richards and Sam Darcy they’re not a serious football club” stage of this thread.
Warning to Cats supporters, these Saints boys are bonafide authorised St Kilda deal makers, so please be circumspect as your replies may be binding on the Geelong Football Club.
Missed out on Jsos & Wilkie
Would of been an integral part of your push further up the ladder
Now your in a back-woods position
at least this mob can say he's looking for success with a straight face.Rapidly approaching the “if the Dogs offer less than Ed Richards and Sam Darcy they’re not a serious football club” stage of this thread.

More like the glass barbie. If you cant understand the difference between Kelly and this i cant help you.

STOP BEING SENSIBLE.This year's first and future 3rd would be my guess.

We're not here to do you any favours.
We'll give the Tdk in tandem a go for 1 season, see how it goes
Geelong long hair players need to get crewcuts, no souvas or coffee for danger.STOP BEING SENSIBLE.
Letting your side down. Watch some random video of Ross, ffs.

Rowan Marshall trade: Will Geelong's ruck desperation see St Kilda get overs? — Sporting News Australia
It's been a part of the Geelong modus operandi for a number of years to be arguably the most shrewd operators at the trade table but St Kilda could dig in on Rowan Marshall trade.apple.news
SOS to go in dry on Mackie

If go in dry means sensibly agree to his realistic trade value then agreed. Is a relatively easy and uncontroversial deal - 1st rounder and maybe later pick swap.![]()

Relatively? The only people on here making bitch noises about it are too young to drive and confusing AFL trading with selection in league of legends. If go in dry means sensibly agree to his realistic trade value then agreed. Deal done and well done to both clubs - we get instantly stronger to help win a flag and Saints get an unhappy player off their books.
You didn't even get close to offering your shit picks.Rapidly approaching the “if the Dogs offer less than Ed Richards and Sam Darcy they’re not a serious football club” stage of this thread.
