Just trying to downgrade from Gibbs thats all Zeeman however think you are over rating JR a touch as good as he has been over the past 12 months because I certainly think Dangerfield well and truly has him covered!!

I'll take the quick, strong, versatile, consistent backman over the quick, flashy forward/mid.

I only threw him up as part of the discussion because he was an Adelaide boy MC, dont really care either way was just making comment on the topic without involving Gibbs as others were because I would hate to lose him!!

I doubt any club would not want Dangerfield, however, he'd come at a massive price. I doubt Swann and Icke would rip the guts out of the club for one player.

Don't usually take much notice of rumours on BigFooty but I don't think Quigley is a BS artist, if Josh Toy wants to come back to Victoria clubs will be knocking each other out of the way to get him.

Unless he's injured, i'm a little shocked that he can't keep a regular spot in Gold Coasts best 22.

This is going to be their biggest problem IMO. Keeping their players from the lure of going home. You can't tell me that West Coast or Fremantle wouldn't make a massive play for Swallow, Matera and/or Bennell when they come out of contract.

If I was in charge at Carlton, i'd be throwing, including the kitchen sink at Tom Lynch. A 199cm key forward with a couple of years of development under his belt would be a god-send for us. Make it happen Greg Swann & Steven Icke.
