We are paying a reasonable sum for Thornton and o'hAilpin to play at the Bullants next year though. Any wonder they weren't traded...

Plenty of late picks and rookie listed guys make it. I'd rather the club tries to find one of them than someone who's been delisted from the wooden spooners.

Given the success Hughes has had with low picks like Betts, Gartlett, White and Ellard, I'd prefer to seem him back his judgement with a diamond in the rough.

All rookies there mate, but I get where you are coming from. I agree that Hughes efforts in the lower national draft picks has been excellent along with his work in the rookie draft and I trust him and his team to select a proper diamond in the rough player with one of our lower draft picks.

Definitely - would much rather take a young Jack Anthony (went from chocolates to boiled lollies in a top team very quickly - he has shown that he can really play and a change of environment might be all he needs) than a bloke who found it difficult to get a regular game with the wooden-spooners: no-brainer!

i heard that the bulldogs dont have any room in there salary cap to do a new contract to sign mitch hahn and that we are trying very hard to get him to walk and come to us in the draft. personally i dont think this is a good idea because he will be taking robinson spot in our team and hurt his development.

Carlton will hold their AFL Community Camp in Benalla and should be around Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th of February. Should feature the whole list and support staff. Should be a great day.
