The same could be said for Ballantyne, you'd just sub the words tagger for decent footballer and it reads about right.^^^^
I thought you were talking about Hayden Ballentyne
There are players that do both, they are better players. It's simple really. Having a basic job description doesn't enhance your abilities or your reputation. It's more an acknowledgement of a limited player.
Would you call him a star?

You could throw around pissweak insults becaue your team will make its 2nd ever prelim, or you could engage some posters opinions that Crowley is an elite tagger but very, very limited in nearly every other aspect of the game.Maybe Boomer could show him this week?
Oh, wait.
[quote="wce4premiership, post: 30031214, member: 21845" Would you call him a star?

There's been two instances of opposing players confronting after the siren this season and Crowley has been the constant in the two, but yeah, it's the Geelong players carrying on.
Crowley's an effective tagger who plays right on the edge of the rules. Has absolutely zero offensive capacity.
Role player: yes. Star: no.
Definitely, what's your point? You would know given your list.
Says a lot about your lack of football knowledge, but I am not surprised![]()
Definitely, what's your point?
Would you call him a star?
Absolutely.
He's no star.
Kame Cornes, Brady Rawlings and Cameron Ling are the taggers who were stars. They could stop someone and get/use the ball.
Crowley is not in their league as footballers.
Decent overhead, kicked more goals last year than this year at a guess without checking. You could throw around pissweak insults becaue your team will make its 2nd ever prelim, or you could engage some posters opinions that Crowley is an elite tagger but very, very limited in nearly every other aspect of the game.
Which has nothing to do with my post about him being limited, or the fact that having a reduced role doesn't enhance your abilities or reputation? My point is he contributed to a winning side in a role that helped win them the game.
Well no, because I am able to recognise Crowley for what he is, which isn't a star. He's actually far from a star, extremely far.
Decent overhead, kicked more goals last year than this year at a guess without checking.
Except he gets the ball and can use it.How do you rate Scott Selwood same type of player
Wasn't aware that your posting is relevant we understand you don't like him because he Hurt that soft front-runner Boomer but carry on.Except he gets the ball and can use it.
I wouldn't mind you having an opinion if you weren't such a pathetic sniveling ponce about it.
