Just catching up on discussion here. Someone let me know if I'm understanding this correctly.

An inactive player supposedly told another club in-season that they would join them the following season, went AWOL and did not tell their incumbent club they were moving on, didn't post in the sign up thread or their new team's team thread between seasons, both the new and incumbent teams listed that player on their squad submissions, and the admin who wanted to simplify the rules instead chose to move the goalposts by overlapping seasons and relying on PM's to sign players?
