because RL takes precedence
Well no sh*t, but takes about a moment to just pop on and make a post, if he's had so much time to talk to you, could have taken five seconds to post.

And I'm sure he'd much rather see the club he played seasons for survive, but none of it is worth betting a club over.
he does love the Furies, but the dragons have shown their not worth keeping

Then do the honourable thing and take him off of your list and when he's back, if he's back, he can ask the Dragons to delist him and you can then sign him to the OOB.

Until then, you're coming across as being extremely obnoxious.
That would be the fair thing to do, rather than pestering him to join a fantasy footy side, and dribbling a bunch of shit.

Exactly. We're not going to hold him to ransom if he comes back and expresses a wish to join the OOBs.

having a player who has agreed to join us signed on the squad list is being obnoxious, ok agree to disagree

as his captain I am standing by his decision, nothing obnoxious about that, just looking after my player

So he has a lot going on, can't post, but you pester him to join a fantasy footy side, you can't see the issue there? :$

No, I said you're coming across as being obnoxious.

And you're not his captain though, quite obnoxious of you to assume such a role.

Turbo, learn the difference between "a player who has agreed to join us signed on the squad list" and actually signing a player to your squad list. If only you went about this the proper way, then maybe we wouldn't be in this pickle and Fumbler could be not posting for the Old Boys - much like what he's already doing I suppose.

Good to see the captain really has some kind of empathy there. :$
It's becoming clear that the Dragons are looking after fumbler's best interests, whilst Turbo is only looking after his club's.

No, however the carry on in here is what is making you come across as obnoxious.

C’mon turbo, you’re better than this.

Precedence exists here, without fumbles confirming his departure from his existing club, and re-committing publicly, the status quo remains until the person in question is able to clear the situation up.

all good, lets wait for fumbler to return and let us know which club he is going to play for S36

then we can all reflect on the previous posts and see who the delusional ones are
Until then, remove him from your squad list because he's not a Old Boy.

And should he wish to become an Old Boy, he should have to go through the 24 hour rule just like with any other player.

Yeah that's the crux of the thing really. fumbler comes on and says he wants to he an Old Boy, no issues.

He joined the Old Boys our list is accurate and up to date

Until Kennedy Parker says otherwise we will not be changing our squad list as it currently stands

I’d like to hear Ligma thoughts?

Where did he confirm that publicly?

For the same reason we require people to make posts confirming their intent to play as recruiting is often done in private, there needs to be public permission here that Fumbler has agreed to sign up for OOB. Until then, he's not and shouldn't be considered an OOB player.

I could have PM'd you last week Turbo and said I want to play for the Old Boys (though let's be real, never going to happen). You couldn't just add me to your list and think you have the moral ground here. My club hasn't been informed of my departure, I have not made anything public. Just saying I want to play for the OOB isn't enough to literally have me signed on the dotted line. It's all smoke and shadows behind the mirrors

Until Fumbler comes in here and confirms his intention to play for the Old Boys, you don't have the right, in my opinion, to have him listed in your squad list. Dragons on the other hand seem to be acting quite responsibly with all respect. They're claiming that they weren't informed he was leaving and I can see why they'd be on the front foot here. If they weren't, it sets awfully bad precedent for clubs to just start naming whoever to their squad lists from other squads at submission deadline.

Hey Clarke, what are your thoughts on letting The People decide the fate of oldmate fumbler ?
