Where did he confirm that publicly?
For the same reason we require people to make posts confirming their intent to play as recruiting is often done in private, there needs to be public permission here that Fumbler has agreed to sign up for OOB. Until then, he's not and shouldn't be considered an OOB player.
I could have PM'd you last week Turbo and said I want to play for the Old Boys (though let's be real, never going to happen). You couldn't just add me to your list and think you have the moral ground here. My club hasn't been informed of my departure, I have not made anything public. Just saying I want to play for the OOB isn't enough to literally have me signed on the dotted line. It's all smoke and shadows behind the mirrors
Until Fumbler comes in here and confirms his intention to play for the Old Boys, you don't have the right, in my opinion, to have him listed in your squad list. Dragons on the other hand seem to be acting quite responsibly with all respect. They're claiming that they weren't informed he was leaving and I can see why they'd be on the front foot here. If they weren't, it sets awfully bad precedent for clubs to just start naming whoever to their squad lists from other squads at submission deadline.

She a baddie, she know nut-ten.

For the same reason that I don't have to announce I'm going to play for the Wonders each and every season I do, there is a reasonably assumed carryover of player contracts from one season to the next unless, and here's the real sticking point, they inform their club that they wish to leave. Given it's the off-season, a club can't hold onto players wanting to leave at all (not like clubs would) but all of this relies on the player to make it well known publicly where they're going.where has he told the dragons he will play for them S36, show me where he posted that
I am not in the leadership group therefore I do not know the details of this, that’s why I am not engaging in the tough debateMy bad. Usually you’re the first to jump in and defend your team.
Old Boys seem very desperate to have an absolute inactive play for them. Smells like desperation.
Dragons, this seasons Gumbies. Which one does the DenieD and melts themselves out of existence? So you know concede that fumbler casually indicated that he'd join the OOB's, cracks are showing now!
I took from fumbler when he said 'I'm in' that he was IN, not casually indicating he might join OOB
What's next, we knew he was joining OOB and just wanted fun. As I said the Dragons need to be penalized hard once this fiasco is shown to be what it is, a Dragons lame attempt to be relevant
lazy trope. try harderYou seem a little emotional about this, Turbo. Might be a good time for you to log out for a little bit and calm down.
White feather incomingAnd I'm sure he'd much rather see the club he played seasons for survive, but none of it is worth betting a club over.
If they fold, we don't have a byehe does love the Furies, but the dragons have shown their not worth keeping
Easy without seeing the PMs to say this. No, I said you're coming across as being obnoxious.
No, he's not melting. If you think that is Turbo melting, I suggest you go back to school and make English your priority subject. That's also a very poor no U.Seems that your captain is the only one melting here mate. Your off season has really gone helter skelter, huh?

He is maintaining a position against multiple people, and good on him. It's going to be highly amusing in a short space of time.
Oh yes, it’s the sheeple and the rest of the world that are wrong. Admirable of you to stand firm in the face of all the facts, precedents, and general consensus. No, he's not melting. We have the facts, you don't possess them all. Judging by your captains posting he's omitted a fair bit so I hope you haven't been lead down the garden path.Admirable of you to stand firm in the face of all the facts, precedents, and general consensus.
So if they havent posted since last season, players are fair game? Or 5 seasons ago for that matter.where has he told the dragons he will play for them S36, show me where he posted that
Easy without PMs to say anything but fact of the matter remains that two clubs are staking a claim to Fumbler and the last club that he played for just so happens to be one of those two.Easy without seeing the PMs to say this.
You don't have all the info, and this is a poor call.
It’s such a weak argument to make. Exactly, Fumbler last played for the Dragons and did so after this supposed PM was made. So without anything being made publicly, he has to be considered as a Dragons player until we know more.So if they havent posted since last season, players are fair game? Or 5 seasons ago for that matter.
Confirming I just signed half the Gumbies list.
